Hi eidted the comment since problem solved.

The problem was the stable 5.1 version didn't work -wont boot, with the cm13 nightly. I seem to have done all work correctly.
The problem solved after I flashed latest beta anykernel of boeffla .

Thank u
This is known.
If you use stable kernel on new CM versions, the kernel becomes too old quickly.

This is why I always recommend to use latest beta kernel.

Hi,

I am using the kernel for display adjustment.
Anyone feel that the amoled is white washed?
I feel so. So am trying to correct it.

The problem is the some grey spectrum just above full black are getting extra bright and overall the display looks chalk powder coated.

Wonder what's 'value' is display adjustment..

No matter how much I adjust the setting available , an unable to get a natural output.

I have a moto x first generation amoled , moto droid turbo amoled, which produces almost same output as my monitor which is gamma and , brightness , contrats and colour calibrated .

I saw an app in playstore advance gamma and colour correction , faux display. The images show that gamma correction is available. Its paid but cheap one. Amazing app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teamkang.fauxdisplay

Test version can be downloaded from a crack site to see it's function. I used it , and it
says gamma correction not available in the kernel am using.

Wonder if u (boeflaa) can provide support for this app, the app looks amazing.. Or
Similar gamma adjustments in boeffla configure app ... Kcal app is supported by boeffla kernel BTW.. (Wonder how)

Am searching for this gamma adjustment a lot.

I know u have asked us not to ask for any feature just to accept whatever u give,
But am asking so as bring to ur notice about this gamma feature/advance gamma colour app.
Will be a very much valued addition.

Whether u respond to this feature or not, it doesn't matter while saying a big thank u for this kernel. Its smooth than the cm 13 kernel . am reluctant to leave! :)

Don't expect me to support it. I was even against the whole KCAL thing from the beginning, not being a color-addict myself.
Also not sure what driver this app requires, there is no documentation around afaik. Usually this app can only be used on Faux kernels.

@Lord Boeffla:

I am using the Pro version of your config app (latest version 2.4.20) and recently it showed the update notification for latest kernel version (beta v5.2-beta4), but when clicking on the notification in notification bar, it just re-opens the app. Same when clicking on the red text on top left inside the app (the one indicating the current kernel version; red text when update is available). Is this the intended behaviour or am I missing something? I expected that the app will automatically download the latest kernel zip when clicking on this notification.

Wrong expectation. It never was like that.

I only display the update information.
You always have to go into load&flash in action menu yourself.

First - what do you mean with portable hotspot, do you mean wifi tethering?

If so:

Does it work with stock kernel? I am pretty sure it is not as well.
Reason: The kernel sources have been completely rebased by CM team in the past 24 hours. And I am pretty sure they forgot one commit.

And what does "not work" mean... is there a problem enabling it? Is there an issue with other devices logging in? Or are they logged in but just cannot get a connection?

Can you confirm it is broken on stock kernel too pls?

What is the most smooth and fastest setting. I´ve sometimes lag. Specially if I unlock my OPX. I need some suggestions about Governor, Scheduler, Readahead buffer, CPU frequencies, Multicore powersave, Input boost frequency and the entropy settings. Who knows a lagfree setting for me? Thanks and a merry christmas and a happy new year.

There is a dedicated thread for settings somewhere, you would need to do a quick search for it.

But I also feel, CM14.1 is not yet as smooth as CM13 in general. Needs lots of polishing in the next weeks.

Hello,

i installed your 14.1 Kernel, and it works without Problems. But i have Problems with the Config App. Every Time o start the App, i get the Message Neustatt erforderlich, etc. Root Access is granted. What can i do?
First thing you can do is:

Visit www.boeffla.de and check the installation instructions and the trouble shooting section.

If that does not help, next is to provide PROPER details on your problem. Your message says almost nothing.
On www.boeffla.de under support is listed, what I expect.
