Not really an issue, but just to report for other user:

when flashing the latest version v8 over v6, the Boeffla Config App (BCA) doesn't start properly anymore, it is stuck at 0% checking. Solution: wiping BCA's data and cache.

Thanks, but I am pretty sure this is not the case for everyone.
I always dirty flash back and forward, never had it.

A dalvik wipe also helps in these cases.

Hi all,

as promised before, here an updated kernel for yesterdays unofficial CM13 build by Ashwin007.
(in the HZtest folder, the corresponding experimental kernel is contained as well)

Version 5.0-alpha8
22.04.2016

  • Update: Ramdisk of unofficial CM13.0 build of 21.04.16 (Ashwin007 build)
Enjoy
Andi
I think its safe to implement HZ in the next alpha :)

It helps a ton with performance and doesnt impact battery life what soever

Haven't noticed anything strange either.

Great work!

Probably about to get flamed for this, but now cm13 is official, does this kernel support f2fs cache or data?

Shall be flashing this tonight and cm13 either way!

It supports F2FS the same way the stock kernel does.

I assume it is for both partition, but as I never used F2FS and never will, it is just my assumption.

I have a question, if i want to try boeffla instead of bluspark, how can i do that the easiest way? I'd rather not backup everything, flash and revert..

Any chance to get your kernel working on other cm-based rom (without cleanig caches works fine, but if doing that we have a bootloop) ? :)
These roms are not fully compatible to CM anymore, although they originally base on it.
And the rom devs should get back to CM compatibility.
I will not put any tweaks or hacks in to make the kernel work with non-compatible roms.

Sorry
