Be assured, maybe the post is not useful for the user audience here, but for ME it is very useful.

As always, most of the time, only people having issues speak up. So it is nice to hear that from time to time as well

Good evening,

here the promised kernel update:

Version 4.0-beta4
24.02.2016

• Note: This kernel only runs on Oxygen OS 2.2.0 for the OnePlus X - nothing else !!!
  
• Note: You need at least version 2.2.31 of Boeffla-Config V2 to allow all functionalities to be available
• New: Add swipe wake gestures (enabling it will wake up device when swiping from left to right, right to left, up to down or down to up) - configure in Display+LED tab
• New: Add swipe sleep gestures (Boeffla gesture driver) - configure in Display+LED tab
  • double tap on notification bar to sleep (note: there is a known glitch when doing that on lock screen as OOS also tries to do switch off the screen, this leads to screen coming back on again - tap a bit slower on the notification bar on the lock screen, this triggers only the kernel implementation and then it works)
  • swipe screen gesture to sleep (touchscreen swipe from right lower area of touchscreen diagonal down to left)

P.S. Don't forget to update Boeffla-Config to latest version 2.2.31 !!

I loved your kernel when I was using OOS 2.2.0 ... I hope CM13 goes official soon because I love Android M, but I miss your kernel...

Short information to the new swipe wake gestures:

You need to have double tap to wake in rom settings enabled to make it work.

I will check whether I can decouple that in future...

Regarding the sleep gesture....how exactly do it works or should work at least?
Until now I wasn't able to get my opx into the sleep mode by swiping over the screen.
It's activated in your app ^^

Only the swipe functions for wake and sleep, nothing else.

It is more or less just doing the natural move with the right thumb when holding the phone.

I tried to paint it for you roughly, see picture.

Edit: Will there a gesture for guys that use their phone with the left hand aswell?
I mean the same thing but on the left side on the screen.

It's an original Note 4 charger and supplied full charge to my OPO before. Can you check that this function didn't break in the latest kernel version?

Charging driver is unchanged in the last kernel versions since the first kernel.

@Lord Boeffla you try to answer everyone's question irrespective of the type of question asked. I appreciate that. Most of the developers here generate some self ego with "Fame" (they either don't reply to question at all or reply with absurdity)

Hi all,

during my touch screen driver improvements today, I found a way to disable the stupid haptic feedback for the double tap to wake gesture

So with next kernel and app, you can configure whether you want to have this feedback or not. See screenshot...
(it does NOT apply to other gestures like flashlight, camera gesture etc.)

The swipe to wake gestures always come without that nonsense anyways now.
On top, the swipe gestures will now also work when double tap to wake is not enabled finally.

Let's see, maybe I release app and kernel already tomorrow...
