Hi, thanks for your script. I used it with "Remove classes.Dex & zipalign" enabled but my phone rebuild the dalvik at every build.

HTC evo 3d with cm 10.2

have you installed the flashable that my script created with system optimized (removed classes.dex and zipaligned)? You find this zip in your sdcard and it is called "Optimized-System_NAMEOFYOURDEVICE.zip". Flash it by recovery and the problem will be fixed :)

Flashed and got bootloop :p however I restored a backup and tried again with adb enabled. At the end of the process the phone hot rebooted, so I pulled off the battery, went in recovery and flashed the zip. Now the phone is working well with frame and system apps odexed :)
thanks.

new update!!!!
Hi,

Thanks for this update ;)

Successfully odexed "all" on my Nexus 5. I just needed to remove Terminal Emulator and reinstall it from the Play Store before running the script because it gave me FC's...

All is fine even after a reboot :)

NEW UPDATE

Changelog:

Odexer Tool 1.0
- First stable version

Thanks for feedback

@MatrixDJ96,
I am on a SGS3 Kitkat rom and I tried using the script couple of times right after a clean install w/o restoring my apps yet and no matter what I do I don't have the frame option and when I choose all it odexs all except for the framework. If I run the script on ART runtime it fails all the files (works perfectly on v1.0Beta4).
I just have 2 questions:
1. Is there any difference in performance between beta4 and the latest version or I can just use beta4 if it works?
2. On Beta4 when I check framework and system folders I can see the the script successfully created .odex files but when I clear dalvik cache It still updates all the apps that I have (Android is upgrading...) can you please give more information about what does it mean performance wise? Does it mean that the script didn't work although it created odex files?

I went back to 4.3 on my g'nex and this script works great. Odexed and zip aligned without error.

Good work. Love it.

EDIT: My above comments are for version 1.0. I tried version 1.1 and got the same "unexpected 1" error as others have reported.

Should I clear dalvik cache if I'm running 4.4 odexed using ART? Is dalvik cache any use now that I've switched to ART?
