That thread states the tool does not work with KitKat. Is odexing the data/app folder not possible in android 4.4?

I don't think so, I think MatrixDJ96 didn't include the option to odex data because there were a lot of unnecessary problems in the old script for some people while odexing data apps.

Bummer, but understandable. I wish I understood the issue with odexing some apks and not others.

@ MatrixDJ96. This tool works very good. I love that I can update the system/app files. I did notice that it doesn't seem to recognize the system/app-priv folder or files that android 4.4 uses. Will that be in a future update?

That was the first thing I checked (SlimKat 4.4.2 Tmo) and I was pleasantly surprised to see that It did in fact Odex that folder also.

All went very smooth and a noticeable increase in response times. THANKS!

You have to select "linux" in terminal emulator's settings\kind of terminal or terminal type(my menu isn't in english! :laugh: ) don't write it as a command.
After this type commands: su, odex, dexo -fr
