That thread states the tool does not work with KitKat. Is odexing the data/app folder not possible in android 4.4?If you want it, you could try odexing all apps in data with the other MatrixDJ96's tool: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2390162 .
Cheers. Good luck.
I don't think so, I think MatrixDJ96 didn't include the option to odex data because there were a lot of unnecessary problems in the old script for some people while odexing data apps. That thread states the tool does not work with KitKat. Is odexing the data/app folder not possible in android 4.4?

Bummer, but understandable. I wish I understood the issue with odexing some apks and not others.I don't think so, I think MatrixDJ96 didn't include the option to odex data because there were a lot of unnecessary problems in the old script for some people while odexing data apps.

That was the first thing I checked (SlimKat 4.4.2 Tmo) and I was pleasantly surprised to see that It did in fact Odex that folder also.@ MatrixDJ96. This tool works very good. I love that I can update the system/app files. I did notice that it doesn't seem to recognize the system/app-priv folder or files that android 4.4 uses. Will that be in a future update?

Looks like you're already odexed. Try typing "all" at the prompt and see if it runs. This is what I'm left with. No options nothing.

You have to select "linux" in terminal emulator's settings\kind of terminal or terminal type(my menu isn't in english! ) don't write it as a command. This is what I'm left with. No options nothing.

whats the point of odexing 4.4 roms. Android 4.4 creates dex files again at optimization startup?
