For Camera you can using Google Camera Port from Wichaya 1.4, and in addition ANX 202 (MIUI Camera Port) flashable Magisk zip
- Google Camera is good for pictures, all working fine
- ANX Camera (only 202 working is great for video, mode portrait & panorama don't work (i advise to hide them from settings)

Flashed few days a go....no issue with drain....if ya have magisk install betterbattery stats from google play and track it down with the app
Btw this is first aosp that doesnt have issue with dark mode flickering.....i am amazed
I'm facing some issues with the Google Assistant, as it shows 'This feature is currently unavailable for this language" whenever I try to enable 'Hey Google and Voice match'.
My current device language is English (UK) altough I'm facing the same issue with Spanish (Spain). Any ideas?
Also, as other users have mentioned, I believe that the microphone volume is quite low (eg. Whatsapp voice notes)
Everything else works pretty good. It's a daily for me.

I realized in your telegram that other Xiaomi have this rom with android 12, so I would like to know if android 12 is on the way for this device? To have it AOSP without MIUI would be fantastic, this rom works incredible, it has some bugs when blocking the screen, or sometimes the glance screen works as it pleases, but from there on out everything works correctly one or another visual bug, I definitely love it and I hope soon you can bring us android 12 under this rom for the XIAOMI MI 11. A hug and thank you very much !!!

Dev already make DerpfestS boot on Mi11. But it's full of bug and not for daily use so not out yet.
I have issues with my phone rebooting only to fastboot mode, first time was when I installed the rom, I remember just mashing the power button/volume keys until it boots to system. The same goes now when I attempted to flash magisk and I am yet to reboot to system hopefully, my question is, can I use TWRP for this rom?
found out the always on screen display is the culprit...
one thing i also noticed people are also complaining about echo during calls on the load speakers

Hi guys. I have an issue. I have the EvolutionX on my Mi11 but because they finished the developing I wanted to swap to DerpFestOS. So my problem is I formated data and tried to flash over Lineage recovery and it does till 47% how the instruction says but when I reboot the system always the EvolutionX starts. What do you think to do?
Flash boot img through fastboot..then boot recovery and inside recovery format data...then sideload with abd..... Thats it
Ps: this is the most polished aosp ....evrything works and even dark mode is 100%
Hi Hunteres. That is exactly what I've done couple of times and that is why asking any other way to solve this.
What you doint then its inly factory resseting the phone.... Does the adb respond when sideloading derp? Does it progress?
Yes, it does everything properly that is the problem. It wipes everyting (it says on the screen) so it should wipe the previous Rom too but always boot back to the EvolutionX. This is my question. How to wipe and flash the new Rom differently. Or if I try to flash back to original MIUI 12.5 and from that flash to DerpFestOS?
Did you have any errors on the mobile screen? Or it shows flashed successful steps 2/2 ?
I have had the same error when I try to flash a A11 custom ROM over a MIUI A12 Rom, i fixed it with a new flash of stock A11 Rom (or miuimix A11) and then flash the custom A11 Rom (im on DerpFest)

INSTRUCTIONS
Flash Lineage recovery using "fastboot flash boot_ab boot.img".
Enter Lineage recovery using "fastboot reboot recovery".
In Lineage recovery go to "Factory reset" then "Format data/factory reset" using volume and power butttons and format data.
Navigate back to "Apply update" then "Apply from ADB" using volume and power butttons.
Flash the rom using ADB: "adb sideload path/to/rom.zip".
(optional) To flash magisk you first need to boot into derpfest, then reboot to recovery and using ADB on you pc type: "adb sideload path/to/magisk.zip".
Reboot and voila!
If you get "Unsuccessful boot read error at 47%", don't worry, YOUR ROM FLASHED JUST FINE.
Upgrading to a Newer Build
Reboot to fastboot and set the active boot slot to "A" using "fastboot --set-active=a"
Boot into Lineage recovery using "fastboot reboot recovery"
Navigate to "Apply update" then "Apply from ADB" using volume and power butttons.
Flash the update using ADB: "adb sideload path/to/rom.zip".
(optional) Flash magisk using ADB: "adb sideload path/to/magisk.zip".
Reboot and voila!

Last Updated 06/11/20215Hey, so I'm loving DerpFest and there are practically zero bugs, but one big issue I found is that people have told me that they can hear themselves in regular calls, VoIP calls, and social media app (e.g. Telegram, WhatsApp, etc.) calls, especially on speaker mode (less noticeable on handset mode). I did some research and found out that this is a common issue with AOSP ROMs and Xiaomi dual mic phones, since the AOSP ROM does not correctly use the two mics for noise cancelling. Has anyone else experienced this on LOS, SSOS, DFOS, or any other AOSP ROMs on the Mi 11? I looked into editing /vendor/etc/sound_trigger_mixer_paths.xml as suggested in the Poco F1 echo fix XDA thread, but I don't think DEC7 and DEC8 are the correct dual mic IDs for this device. If any devs can figure this out, I'd be happy to buy you a
