I've been using it on my device and haven't noticed any heat related issues - unless I run something heavy like a game for long periods of time. otherwise it is cool to the touch.

I tried v7.26 but I get stuck during set up, can't get beyond Google One. Press "Turn On" but nothing happens. Pressing Not Now goes back a few steps but end up with Google One again. Any tips to get beyond this step?
I was running the 20220617 ROM earlier and it was fine. Did Factory Reset to give the phone to my dad but couldn't complete the setup because of Google One.

I am using open_gapps-arm-11.0-pico-20220215.zip from https://sourceforge.net/projects/opengapps/files/arm/20220215/. Got the link from first post of this thread.
hello. I have a problem that when I install Crdroid the nexus 5 starts up fine without the gapps but if I do the same installation but with the gapps it stays on the screen with the crdroid logo and from there it doesn't happen to me. Does anyone know what I could do to fix it???

Back up the internal storage and before flashing, wipe the internal storage as well.

Try it this way:
1. Flash one by one crDroid 7.23 and gapps older than the ROM.
2. Boot ROM and if it works, then go back to TWRP and flash the newer versions one by one, booting them, in between flashing.

First time installing crDroid to your Nexus 5, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running the latest TWRP Recovery (UA or HH Version)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
5) Flash gapps
6) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk 21.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

Slow Boot Animation
Screen mirroring via slimport HDMI adapter doesn't work.
PMF aka 802.11w doesn't work.
Wi-Fi display doesn't work
SELinux permissive
Don't expect any support if you:
- are not running the included kernel

With custom ROM's heading towards Q (Android 10) it will take time to figure out all the issues, I will be providing updates for this device until crDroid Android stops development on Pie and moves on towards Android 10.
With news that daily LineageOS builds provided by @z3DD3r will be stopping soon, I will provide updates on the same timeline I normally do, so don't worry. Nexus 5 has 1-2 more updates on Pie at least before crDroid moves on towards Android 10.

- Some Google stuff i.e. Assistant is causing some weird issues ("internet connection issues" even when connected), which is an issue with Google as its also affecting Samsung, OnePlus phones. Nothing I can do about it.
