Flashing Instructions:

Pre-installation:

• TWRP (Download from here)
• gapps (Download from here)
• Magisk 21.0 or newer for root (after first boot) - (Download from here)

First time installation:

1. Install TWRP if you didn't already
2. Wipe system and data partitions
3. Flash ROM zip
4. Flash Gapps (optional)
5. Flash Magisk (optional)
6. Reboot to system

Update installation:

1. Flash ROM zip
2. If magisk autoreinstall fails, flash magisk zip
3. Wipe dalvik cache
4. Reboot to system

Same issue with youtube for me as well, it crashes immediately after I launch it, but I am able to use youtube vanced.

USB OTG doesn't work (Mi Pad 4 does not show up when connected to PC).
Does not work even after restart (PC Connection), latest December 6 build.
Mi pad 4 wifi 8 inch

usb otg works after rebooting the tablet, but then it does not connect to the computer until you reboot

Try enabling Developer Mode (go to about tablet - click build number at the bottom, 5-6x, you will be prompted to enable Developer Mode), then go to System - Developer Options. Look for entry called "Default USB configuration) choose file transfer. Windows should be able to see the tablet after this

Try enabling Developer Mode (go to about tablet - click build number at the bottom, 5-6x, you will be prompted to enable Developer Mode), then go to System - Developer Options. I'm not talking about this at all, I already had file transfer by default, I'm talking about OTG, just after you connected the USB flash drive, and then disconnected it, the tablet will not connect to the computer until you reboot it

I think it's just amazing to be able to run the latest version on a device that was abandoned by it's maker. I'm very happy that the device's speed outweighs the annoying nuances that come with every custom rom, no exceptions.
I'm grateful to this team for bringing the latest iteration to this device. Very very smooth. Thank you!

i know this is a long shot but does otg+charge work? i havent found a ROM that works and theres no custom kernels. its a shame!

i don't have this issue. I'm able to connect to an otg device, eject it and am able to connect to a PC,, no problems at all, don't need a reboot.

I installed it today and for now it works great. Safetynet OK. One crash in settings, after a reboot all is good.
Netflix not present in the play store, I installed it with and APK and works well.
