I am on freedom 2.2, yesterday afternoon I have made a full wipe, I used my phone for 45 min SOT, then I went to sleep without wifi, I left the phone on LTE, this morning i have a lot of drain on play services and whatsapp, its about 280mah (playservices) and 160mah (whatsapp) in 8-10 hours of standby, that was the same before the wipe and it happens only with mobile data without wifi. Any ideas guys? Thanks!

-Disable "back up my data" in settings
-Clear storage in "Play services"
-Reboot your phone
-Enable back "back up my data" if you want to

I hope it works!

Hi everybody, I'm on freedom os 1.7 with twrp 3.0.2-1 and i have some questions.
1-can i flash the 2.2 version directly through twrp i mean 1.7 is marshmallow and 2.2 is nougat, so does the rom updates everything at once?
2- should i use .28 or use the new official 3.0.3?
3-do you have any special advices to give me before the update?

2) Use the latest official TWRP 3.0.3-0 cuz it bypasses encryption and avoid DM-Verity
3) Try to always clean flash for whatever ROM possible

Thanks, I'm trying are you sure you have playservice drain only on LTE? Because with wifi i have no issues

Isn't that called "dirty flash"? But if I'm not mistaken by what you're saying, all the modem and firmware is already in the latest build... Feel free to only flash that

I updated freedomos with clean install from 1.7 to 2.0 without flash official nougat. So yes you can because freedomos 2.2 has firmware/modem inside like stock rom

Hey, I wanted to try this ROM out but without Supersu in order to be able to log in to snapchat. After that I plan to root it. I know it says in the FAQ just to flash the stock kernel that's unpatched but the latest one is for 1.6.x. Is it possible to use the 1.6.x. one even for FreedomOS 2.2?

Many people are reporting Max CPU usage on FreedomOs 2.2 using ElementalX kernel on ElementalX thread. Other 4.0.2 roms like experience seem to be fine. Is there any special modification made in this rom?

Storage space is not refreshed. When we copy something to the internal storage... The usage increases. But when we delete something , the used space remains as such and refreshes only after reboot. Any solution guys ?

What is it exactly asking?
Is it a twrp encryption password or it is asking like 'Insert password to start the Android'??
