Suggestion: Anyone using this ROM with Pixel Launcher, set font size in settings>display to small. Looks much better.

the op says both that we need official twrp AND the patched version. I guess that means we need the patched, right?

going for CE for the first time, I know there was alot of bugs in the first versions..how is latest version?

Here's whar I did.
-go to recovery /TWRP
-Flash modded twrp/install twrp.img
-reboot recovery
-wipe
-flash 1.7CE
-reboot

Latest version is working fine for me. Great battery life also.

hi! just came here to report that the aroma installer dpi changer doesn't do anything, and that when you force change the dpi via build.prop, this happens:
(see attachments)
(also, other system ui elements don't look as they should)

i flash 1.7 ce over 1.6 ce (dirty).
now i faces the prob that Phone.apk is weird. When I call someone, the calling pop-up screen is not appear. receiving calling is the same, dissappeared too.
IDK it's concerning about substratrum or not, I'm gonna restore nandroid backup and reflash again without substratrum.

it's easy to find a simple workaround, no big deal, just a dpi changer app with root access. the real problem is, the rom was not meant for changing dpi so it messes up the UI. many system apps are simply cramming the content one way, and that's not something you can fix..

I found the way to fix phone app already ( the prob with dirty flash 1.7ce over 1.6ce that I reply early rep)
just re-installer gapps (I use aroma installer gapps and choose the dialer, contact and dialer module for google dialer) after flash 1.7ce.
and ... .. . tadaaa Phone.apk is working !
ps. the prob that I reply in earlier rep is not related with substratrum,sir.
