I am returning to dero after a long time.

Could someone please tell me if the latest build has any major issues....... Like i could read in last few pages, locksreen loop.

I couldn't decipher a consensus by reading, that's why asking directly.

It is a good stable ROM. The recent comments you've been reading are NOT something many are experiencing. Go ahead, Flash it. You'll be fine.

The last official build seems to be of 08/09, not 17/09.
Am I missing something?

But why are you mentioning this on aosip unofficial's thread?
Also, dev has already mentioned that 08/09 was most likely the last build for derp. As he will be focusing on Android 10 now.

Derp 10 works great. I've only had an occasional UI crash, that gives black screen for a few seconds then goes back to where you were. Wipe all except internal, flash rom, magisk 19.5, no verity. If you skip magisk it will boot to bootloader. If you use subs, use substratum lite from PS. Valerie works well.

You mean Derp with android 10? Is it available yet?
Also they say that magisk should be flashed after first boot. What are your views over it?
Also I could only find magisk 19.4 as the latest beta version and 19.3 as the latest stable version on the magisk official thread.

Rom is pinned in the Telegram thread. I think magisk 19.5 is in there somewhere too. Try switching to magisk beta, should pop up.

I don't use volte, so not sure. FP seems to work fine.

Edit: tried FP, sometimes works, sometimes requires pattern (when it shouldn't).

Just a small issue,I noticed few launcher restarts. Maybe they were due to me changing launcher settings so it restarted. Anyone else faced it?

Take photos with main camera app first. And upload via WhatsApp or viber secondly.

I'm on this rom from a few weeks and I'm really very very happy (and waiting for Q...). I have just a problem: when I listen to long Whatsapp audio messages and the screen goes off I start to hear a metallic rasping sound (I don't know if it's the English right term!), something like a crackling sound. Does it happen only to me?

Q alpha is fairly stable and available on Telegram.

WhatsApp has issues with many custom roms, you're not the first to mention something like this. Do you have any audio mods installed?

Thank you, but I prefer to wait for stable version, I hope it will not take so long. Unfortunately I have only Bass Booster app installed, but also if I unistall it the problem is still there. Anyway it is not such a big problem.

Read the first page of this thread, it has the firmware file for dumpling so it can be flashed in twrp.
