Can confirm - this ROM is still working flawlessly on LG G6 H870.
Flashed ROM, GApps and in the end - Magisk.

Can i use the trash remover mentioned in the first post after installing custom ROM on a different device (a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2016 tablet) to remove AudioFX and such stuff from Lineage 19.1? Or its intended to be used with LG G6? thanks

Can someone here confirm me the H870 hardware is able to record 1080p videos @ 60fps ?
I'm using OpenCamera along with this custom ROM (18.1-20211105-UNOFFICIAL-h870) and everything works great (4k, slow-mo 720p@120fps, etc), but max resolution allowed for 60fps setting is 1280x720 (720p) whatever I do... Camera2 API enabled or not.
Other cam apps (GCam, Lineage one, etc) confused me even more with their relative lack of settings.
I didn't even tried on stock ROM nor latest custom update as I'd prefer not to mess up my current setup, so I'm not 100% sure about this... Some specs websites for this device say "1080p@30fps", some others "1080p@30/60fps", but there are actual 1080p@60fps sample videos on youtube recorded with this device, so...?

I just installed the OS. Everything works fine except...apk installation outside play store. I get a message 'your phone and personal data are more vulnerable to attacks from unknown apps...you agree to be solely responsible...'; I validate on 'ok'. Then 'install': application not installed!

I use my lg g6 as a mifi charging all the time with a slooow charger (pc usb port)
but with latest update the battery drain is more than the charging so in 2-3 days it turns off
please fix this this didnt happen before and dont want to use a faster charger and heat the battery more

Everything is working except the Sim card. It is saying "No sim Card - Emergency calls only". I have the T-Mobile version.
The sim was working in the stock from. (non T-Mobile)

Ril works as intended, there are no issues regarding to that.
Check APNs, use the restore to defaults list and add yours if needed.
Thank you for the reply. I can't access the APN's list as the mobile network is greyed out in Network & Internet. Also in About Phone > Sim Status > Not Available.
I've tried factory resetting the phone still the same issue.

Follow the next steps to fix SafetyNet:

Flashing Magisk doesn't mean you're rooted. You can keep root disabled.
To bypass safetynet you'll need to follow the steps I described.

If you want to report bugs, please always indicate device variant, Gapps package, Magisk version and Magisk modules installed.
Prerequisites
Your device must be unlocked and running a custom recovery. Click here if your variant is H870 or US997 and here for H872.
Oreo or Pie bootloader required
H870: if you are running the latest Stock Pie, there's no need to update your bootloader.
US997 and H872: if you are running the latest Stock Oreo, there's no need to update your bootloader.
In case you aren't running those stock versions, you'll need to update your bootloader by flashing the right one for your variant.
Bootloaders for all LG G6 variants
Android 11 recovery required
After you unlocked your bootloader and flashed the suggested TWRP version for that specific purpose, you'll need to upgrade your recovery to have A11 support. Old recoveries will not fully work with Android 11.

Instructions
- Clean flash is mandatory
- Backup everything
- Unlock your device and install TWRP following the prerequisites guides above
- Update your recovery to the lastest TWRP
- Update your bootloader if needed (fingerprint reader doesn't work with old bootloaders)
- Download the latest build and Roar Gapps (only main package, flashing other addons will cause issues)
- Reboot to recovery
- Wipe system, data, cache, dalvik
- Flash the latest build and Roar Gapps Mini Me
- Magisk (optional)
- Reboot and enjoy
