Left this lovely rom after like 5 months using it. Now that OOS is getting updates, Im back to it.
I had some cons that didn't get a solution: volume controls not working with my headphones; weird bug on calls, once the mic was muted, couldnt come back to unmute it and had the end the call; was missing also oos stock camera.
Would be great opting to eitther use custom hal or not. In my case, I barely record videos.

Other than that, this has been my favourtite rom for the past months and I may come back as miss cm themes and stuff.
Good luck with its development, and thank you @Sultanxda

Could you help guide me to do the same? I currently have Sultan's TWRP and the Aug13 build installed. Will just a wipe and flashing the latest ROM (3.1.1 ) do the needful? Or do I need to replace TWRP as well?

You need to replace TWRP with bluspark v41. But v41 is compatible with 3.1.1 bootloader. So you need to install OOS 2.x.x, then upgrade to 3.x.x and then you can install v41 (if you want go back to CM i quess)

1. Flash original twrp if you don't have it.
2. Modify updater script from oos3.1.1 zip.
(Delete first two lines which end by ";". The updater script should start off by showprogress.
3. Wipes and Flash oos3.1.1.
4. Flash twrp bluspark v41 img from the same recovery.
5. Reboot recovery.
6. Flash supersu and any desired zip.

Thanks a lot !
I dont have the original TWRP, I presume flashing the oxygenOs recovery via fastboot will do the same?

Correct.. as @Dizzyrul3z said. That way you can skip step 1 and 2 and then flash the special twrp for oos 3.1.1 using fastboot again... that's more tedious for me. The best way is adapting the updater-script from the stock rom and using the original twrp which can be easily found in official twrp site (onyx).

Guys, hope you can help me with an issue. Running the latest version of Sultans ROM and still impressed by smoothness, stability and battery life.

However, I went on holiday 3 weeks ago and as soon as I started roaming on foreign networks, I noticed the grayed out network and/or WiFi icons. I thought it was the fact that I was abroad, but after returning home yesterday I still have the same issue. What's the status:

- wifi and 4g connection available;
- browsing works fine (Opera);
- a lot of apps (some typical Dutch, for news, traffic, etc., but als Spotify) can't connect;
- Gapps (YT, Gmail, play store, gmail) work fine;
- issues occur on WiFi and 4g;
- sometimes suddenly the wifi icon is back to white and all works perfectly well (for a short while);

So I know about the "grey wifi icon" issues Android is having, but none of the things I found were useful:
- no issue with time/date;
- added a line to Hosts-file didn't help;
- switch to airplane, reboot and switch airplane off doesn't help;
- reinstalling Gapps (Open, Nano latest instead of Pico) didn't resolve;
- No use in wiping Dalvik.system.NativeStart.main and Cache;

Could this be kernel/radio/ROM related? If anybody has an idea on what to do it would be a great help.

PS: my wife's Moto G running MM and Win 10 laptop have no network issues whatsoever.

Is there anywhere information on how to remove the encryption and be able to use any other ROM?
Right now I installed normal TWRP it says it can't mount anything so got back to sultan's TWRP and after I wipe the partitions, they are still encrypted. I can't find an option to remove encryption.
Last step would be to flash everything from fastboot, but was hoping it wouldn't come to that.

EDIT: I was doing advanced wipe and it didn't do it (I think) did the normal and suddenly it was ok. :confused::confused:

Hi guys. I have been using sultans CM13 for along time now but over the few days I noticed big battery drains by Google Play Services. Any ideas on how to deal with it?. I have my wifi always on when I am at home and when I am outside I am always on LTE. I use GPS only when I play pokemon go (1h and 12m in these screenshots). Also is it normal to have Android System and Android OS at 7% + 5% = 12%?

Using OPX, I unrooted a week or two ago.

Flash opengapps nano again. That fixed it for me.
