I had this issue with original oos v2. That was the reason I switched to cm. And I also had Vodafone. Then I went to T-Mobile and all started working....

And did you have the same issue with CM? You didn't say. I'm quite confident it's related to how my carrier handles two different sets of antennas that makes the bands firmware kinda fail... If only I had the tools to diagnose that and propose a fix...

The only weird thing about that is the fact that the issue wasn't happening before... I guess it follows up with the latest CM update, so... something has probably be introduced that breaks the antenna switch in a random way.

For your info, my carrier (Free Mobile, France) is relatively new, so it's using both its antennas (mainly 4G ones) and another provider's antennas (H only), which are seen as "Free" antennas when looking through available networks, so that it's not considered as roaming for the phone.

Yes I had same issue with CM. Temasek's CM to be exact. Than I flashed this one and all troubles gone. But I dont think its ROM issue only. It must be carrier problem too. I had lots of troubles with this while I was with Vodafone, then I switched to T-Mobile and all troubles are gone. It was same time I switched to this ROM so I cannot tell if the ROM fixed it or carrier change did the trick.

Maybe try to buy some other SIM cards from various carriers and test it that way.

Unfortunately in France, it's kind of expensive to buy a SIM that has data. Also, i'm paying 16€/month for a 50GB 4G data quota and unlimited calls/texts and can't find cheaper, so i'm not really willing to change but rather to fix the issue.

If you think France is expensive, come here to Czech. Our country is one of the most expensive in this. You pay 16€ for 50GB of data? God I want it too. I pay 28€ for fcuking 1,5GB of data! So dont tell me its expensive there!!

Lol, about what we had 5 years ago. I know we're one of the cheapest countries because we favored competition between providers. And from the cheapest offers, I got the cheapest one that litterally ***** other providers. That's why I'm saying I won't leave this one anyways, so I'd rather find a fix. Actually, I don't want to give a single buck to other providers that screwed us for years before Free came out breaking prices. Hope you too got your Free one day

Gosh. Its so cheap in Europe. I am using m1 from Singapore with 300mins talk time with 4gb data 4g. Sgd70 per month. That about usd50.

Anyway, i never have issues with oneplus x and this rom. My job needs me to travel around Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, India, Philippines, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Never have issues with data 4g. Using roaming and local sim. All ok.

Sorry for bothering you about this issue, it seems like it's not ROM related, even though I haven't seen any iPhone relating the issue atm, it's probably a provider global android issue or a provider only issue.
