[EOL][ROM][SAMSUNG][OREO][8.1.0] ULTRA LEAN ROM [SM-T585]

The Dev has announced that the rom is End Of Life and so there will not be any updates
Boom! Oreo Update!
Helloooooe people! Been a long time, I just saw our TAB A got the Oreo update from Samsung, sooooo I thought I should flash it since I was having some spare time over the weekend, then I saw a few threads about the boot loader roll back issues, so I decided to bring this ROM back to life, well I haven't done much, just a bit of usual de-bloating, the Oreo ROM seems a bit sensitive, I deleted a few apps and the camera started giving an FC, so I tested over the weekend and kept whatever was necessary now it seems stable, the ROM generally feels a bit sluggish though... probably future updates from Samsung should iron out the bugs....
Anyways, note that I am still super busy and this might be the only release I do for Oreo, but if and when I am free, will try to release newer updated versions if possible.

T580 version link
I have used IAM_TheFlash rom from the first development and have always been very very happy with it. But I too would like to have seen a oreo version for the T580 TAB, but fully understand that the developer has very limited time. So I hope he will not mind If i add this link for info only, I found a couple of days ago for the T580 which I have installed via TWRP and might be of interest to the developer and other users? Can't do backup
After installed this rom without root and do all apps installation and device configuration I tryed to backup the rom via TWRP, but unsuccessful. What is wrong?

This is pretty much common knowledge now. Your data partition is encrypted. It needs formatting and patching.
Also use latest twrp. 3.2.3-4

I´m facing problems with rooting my Tablet SM-T-580 (Wifi Model) with Magisk or SuperSu through TWRP.
Im using newest TWRP 3.2.3-4-gtaxlwifi-OMNI6.
I did the following steps through TWRP (needed files are stored on USB OTG):
Format data = yes.
Did full wipe (everything exept USB OTG).
Reboot into Recovery.
Install Rom --> ULTRA LEAN OREO V11 for SM-T585.
Wipe Cache/Dalvik.
Install Magisk v18.1 or SuperSu v2.82 [ because In the first post it says under "EXTRAS": "2. Download : SuperSU 2.82 (With DATA Encryption)" ]
Wipe Cache/Dalvik.
Everything went through successfully --> No errors at all.
Reboot System.
--> Titanium Backup says: No Root permission.
Now I need your help:
1) What did I do wrong?
2) How do I root my Tablet successfully? Which tool do I have to use, Magisk or SuperSu?
It would be nice to get it working

For me when i flashed rom/magisk/encryption file root didnt get install I tried again flashed just rom/root and after booting up installed magisk manager and got root. Maybe its because of encryption file. Try flashing rom and root without it. Good luck

Yes guys thanks for letting me know, I just checked, the ROM has higher changelist...but still has August Security patch.
Life update: I just got into full time employment and can't work immediately on new updates as I have only one day off on Friday.
I haven't used my TAB in two weeks now....
So expect a lot of delay in new updates..... sorry about this cannot help much currently..... but yes when I have time will definitely put out a new ROM update......
