I'm sorry that I haven't explained it well why I called it EOL. I will try it now:

Switching to another device isn't the main reason for marking all my roms EOL after the Oreo update. Times are changing and so is my personal life. A few years ago I could spend more than 5 hours per day working on android, that's why I could update the s7/s7e to each new base, optimize it, make new mods and so on. That is changing now, I'm getting older, get more responsibility in university, at work, in my family life. This doesn't give me much spare time to work on android.

Actually I'm even happy when I can turn on my linux computer once in a weeks time (you can imagine now why the update took so long). It would look a lot different if I earned a living with android development, but that's of course not possible. It's my hobby and I love it!

The free app offers the exact same amount of experience as the pro app. This app is really just made for the support, nothing else.

But if the support already stops within the year, I find that very unfortunate

I have always used your rom for the s5 + supermanrom and Batman rom with great pleasure

If my next phone is a Samsung again I will definitely use your ROM if you still make them

My WLAN turn not back on after wake up. And from time to time a can't wake up my phone from stand by the screen is black and the phone restart 1 to 2 times until I can enter my pin or use fingerprint.

Have you debloated anything? There are a few apps needed for this menu to work. If you debloated, give me a complete list of all apps

You need to enable OEM unlock on your setup before you can flash anything

That sounds like your setup is messed up. Can you try to redownload the rom and check your md5? It's very likely that something went wrong there

That V2 is completely unusable.

That's reports are after finish installation and more 5-6 reboots.
1- During downloading and installing apps the phone freeze.
2- During loading apps the phone freeze.
3- Multitask is completely bad.

I will revert to 1.5.

PS: The problem not come from DEVs but from OREO, i tested other ROMs like RENOVATE ICE based on OREO and have the same problems.
Very laggy System.

Somebody can explain why phone in OREO appear have the performance of galaxy s3 or older?

To be honest torch isn't included in the power menu. Forgot to remove the switch in the RC, sorry about that!

First off, that's why you have a choice in aroma to install as odex rom, I suggested you to read about the problems (in the aroma).

Did clean install and got a "interf sist" problem after the first boot and rom is so laggy. Anyone with this problem?
I've installed the odex version as recommended.

Got, in 30 minutes, 2 msgs saying that "interf sist stopped" and then the cell stop work.

I did enable OEM unlock first. That's in the dev options. So far it works fine with the earlier BL. It only happens when I flash the bootloader mentioned in the instructions.

install tthe rom again, in ODEX mode, via AROMA.
And rom works very good

Ouh, great. An update is out. I thought I'd share my workaround for the constant reboot looping bug. Whenever it happens, I just boot into recovery and dirty flash the same custom rom version using the backed up settings. Solves the problem every single time.

Which kernel do you use? I'm sure it works with the inlcuded stock and batkernel, others I can't tell. You would have to report the issue to them

The problem is: oreo bootloader has a check for OEM, some have to wait 7 days till it appears...

As written above. This is kernel related, but my 2 included kernels work both 100% fine!
