Bug reporting:

• DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
• Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
• If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
• If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
• Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

FAQ and Install instructions:

Installation

1. Download the latest supported Android P Factory Images (August), AOSiP build and TWRP installer zip
2. Execute ./flash-all.sh (Unix) or flash-all.bat (Windows) inside the extracted factory image archive.
3. Fastboot into TWRP recovery
4. Swipe to Factory Reset
5. Flash the latest build of AOSiP
6. Flash the latest TWRP installer
7. Reboot to recovery in TWRP (this will reboot you into the other slot)
8. Flash a custom kernel (optional)
9. Flash Magisk zip (optional)
10. Reboot to system

Updates

Update to the latest factory images and repeat steps 5 - 10.

Perhaps with the September security patch - for now I'm investigating doing a Paranoid Android bringup for taimen. That is a CAF ROM with CAF HALs and stuff, so will probably be considerably more work than the other ROMs I've built so far.

Regardless, i'm syncing several different ROM sources tonight and bootleggers is one of them so stayed tuned.

Figured out why I was having instability with the gapps. If you want a build with pixel gapps preinstalled, try this one here Might move to preinstalled pixel gapps next release

@Eamo5 just flashed and set the phone, the one with gapps included. This rom i sick! I used it last month before I switched to Q but when I saw that someone continued to maintain Aosip I immediately switched back. Thank you!!! btw all works as it should, I hope this rom goes official in near future

Stick to the August vendor image since that is a Pie build.

DerpFest just reached EOL for Pie but for those who want to use a more feature packed version of AOSiP, it works perfectly fine. I have also updated the default link in the thread to the Pixel Gapps build and all future builds will be switching to Pixel Gapps. Enjoy

I'm using DirtyUnicorn's gapps so it's a slightly more minimal version of the stock pixel gapps.
