Sorry for the dumb question .. after I install the zip (1.2GByte?), which app can I use to actually set my csc to the one I need?

EDIT: alright tried to change csc after installing the german multi csc. I need DTM for t-mobile, but phone info shows still DDE as active code. I tried selecting DTM through phone info csc changer, device rebooted, reset itself, but still active csc is DDE.
how can I change my csc to dtm? I am pretty sure that's why my VoLTE option is gone ....

thanks,

polford
Did you find any solution? Also trying to get VoLTE back, German T-Mobile... Wasn't successful yet.

As for TGY CSC...To fully utilize the CSC Samsung Chinese IME specifically for BRI and TGY region is needed. The folders and apk I think is SECIME or something like that. \lib folder also has a file that needs to be added. The folders such as chn_sipdb, SOGOUDB, T9DB and the folders located in \csc\common\system\app\ are there to supplement the Chinese IME. They are not present for any other region. Are you able to integrate them?

This may not be the place for this question, so apologies in advance..but what exactly does the csc change? I played with a couple and saw that one csc changed whether the data connection was displayed as 4g or lte ..is there anything else changed besides trying to get the volte or voice over WiFi to work?

Hey would you consider adding the American codes? The exynos is actually available here and a lot of people are buying it because it isn't bootloader locked like the American phones. These are the US codes

AWS, DOB, TMB, CLW

I actually found the T-Mobile files here:

This is what I am really looking for. Most power users in the USA will use T-Mobile

Getting them is not a problem, they are available in the firmware. BUT these are for SD820. At best they won't work, or at worst they will mess up the EFS. TekHD has a working hybrid AT&T / T-Mobile CSC included in his ROM, but it does NOT enable VoLTE or WC yet. It would simply enable to LTE icon.

Ahah! Well that is one step closer anyway. I can't find the rom thread for TEKHD, just some folks talking about the thread being locked.

Well if they are doing something weird or special, my guess is that those features would need to somehow be extracted from the american phone's radio or firmware somehow and installed in the international one. Doesn't sound all that easy to me but maybe if you were used to poking around in that code. Maybe it is just as simple as a special key or authentication signature. I'm sure if anyone can figure it out it will be included in the popular radios.

TekHD only added the others.xml from the csc files. So you will just have the LTE icon that has changed
Other then that the others are right. ATT and TMB csc breaks phones IMEI
after you have ran the zip file you boot in to the system and run phone info then select other tools csc changer
Exactly :)
