So after you change your wpa key to be shorter, do you see any other networks?
I still see no networks.
EPE54B (new N1- AT&T) -> FRF50 -> FRF83 & beyond (hopefully) in 20 minutes

My 3g speeds have been atrocious since doing this. The best I have ever got since then has been 1000 download. It is very commonly 400, 300, 200, for a half an hour I even saw a 5! 5!
Wifi works smooth as it always did.
I tried switching to frf85b (I'm on ATT) and I had the exact same result. Slow 3g speeds.
In the #*#*4636*#*# menu, what should this be set to? WCDA preferred, or gsm auto perl? Does that have anything to do with it?
It's just dumb, that switching to Froyo killed my data connectivity.
Was it because I switched to an FRF83, which is on the tmobile network? Does switching to frf85b after that still have some handicap from the conversion?
I can't use the frf83 to frf85b upgrade that was posted as I have a custom recovery image now. Nandroid is cool and all, but I kinda wish I had not read this post. Silly google, making us ATT users think we were going to be left in the cold by, uh, leaving us in the cold.

I've got an At&T/Rogers N1 (ie EPE54B)
rooted, amon-ra recovery installed
I've been running FRF83 for the past week, and just tried install FRF85B
No matter what I do I keep on getting the "verification failed" error.
Things I've tried include
1. the update from FRF83-->FRF85
2. downgrading back to EPE54, then applying the EPE54-->85 official manual update
3. I've downloaded the "signed-passion-ota-42745.dc39ca1f" which is supposed to work for all versions
no matter what, I keep on getting the "verification failed" message. I can only get up to FRF83
BTW, radio version 4.06.00.12_7

Flashed the original recovery image to get rid of Amon-Ra and update ran perfectly!!
Can you link me to the original recovery image? I can't seem to be sure that what I'm using is the correct one.

The ONLY way to update to FRF91 from FRF83 that was originally EPE54B and was updated to FRF83 with this guide is to remove amon-ra's recovery?
Is there another simpler way? One that can help me keep Amon-ra's recovery?
