eris has no sound

my eris is stuck with the headphone symbol on and it will only play sound through the the earphone jack. i've tried everything I can think of to get the sound back but nothing has worked. Is there anyone who has had this problem who could possibly help me. As long as I plug my speakers into the jack I got sound, unplug and there is nothing.....help please!!!????I've put a new radio on, flashed roms and factory reset,data wipe and still nothing.
