error /misc partition not found

Hi,
i have problem. I forgot my password and i want to factory reset my phone but whenever i try it with the three button function ando wipe data/factory restart than this message appears: E: failed to find /misc partition
I know that there was a lot of similar discusions but they didnt help me.
I hope that there is a solution for that.
My mobile: Samsung Galaxy A3 2016

You will need to post this in your device forum - here is A series 2017.

Do you have TWRP? Not likely with what you posted. It may be a case of reflashing something through Odin. Check on the forums how and what

That always appears in stock recovery in my phone. It should still wipe data.

It's a custom recovery to assist in flashing custom ROMs like LineageOS. Don't worry about that just now...you have bigger worries to consider !
