I think of trying the eclair version of espresso,
but does it support data2ext?

If it does, then how can I activate it in this espresso-eclair rom?

this is the complete logcat of one of the loops http://pastebin.com/SsJVCcfA

update: nevermind :) problem solved, wiped everything twice, tried to install cyanogen 6.1 and then flashed back yogentouch. This rom has an amazing look, very great job

Been testing this this Rom 4 a while now and I love the UI. Can't use it though. APN problem must be fixed and would like to have WWE languages too. So.... I'm back on Blay0's b-0-7 again. When issues are fixed i'll be happy to try again ....

It says App2sd enabled by default, it means each application I install automatically will be ported to ext partition on SD card?

Yes

BTW the link to ECLAIR YOGEN ROM version topped to work
Does it suppose to be "stopped" instead of "topped"? If it was, then I just checked, the link works fine.

How hard would it be to port this rom to the Eris? Ive tried and failed so many times
Please use the original rom from Htc mytouch 3G Slide forum.

I have to say that eclair version is great! And it is very fast!
I'm very impressed!

But it's strange that 2.2.1 version, which is newest and supposed to have better performance is actually slower :(

Why is that?

Is the more faster version of 2.2.1 espresso will be released soon?

I also noticed that in Eclair version app2sd is enabled by default,

but with 1.5 it's not! it also don't even let me move applications to sd...

What can be a problem?

Maybe the only reason we can blame on is unstable mytouch 3G slide rom release (it's a leaked version, not offcial) ;) I tried so many things but it seems to be hopeless to get the speed back, I'll wait for the official one.

Eclair version has DarkTremor A2SD which is enabled by default <= that means you have to do nothing.

Froyo version (1.5) has native froyo A2SD and DarkTremor A2SD, you can use both of them at the same time.
- With Native Froyo A2SD : you have "Move to SD" action in the Application settings.
- With DarkTremor A2SD : apps are moved to Ext Partition by default.

Do this in Terminal Emulator to check DT A2SD is running or not:

Code:
su
a2sd check

Ok I downloaded emulator and run a2sd check...
But it gave me a lot of results, what should I check?
