Could you go to Software Info on your device, scroll down to "Software Serviceprovider" and post that info here (screenshot)...
Please see attached. Thanks

When I tried the Thailand Sim trick, some of the phones picked up thailand regions such as Samsung themes and there was option in call setting to use 'Hiya' the thailand caller ID protection service. Note there was never the usual message of asking if I want to apply the regional settings upon hard reset with this sim though. I note on a Samsung forum it suggests that a sim can be only used once. As I've used this to change for my Note8, it may not work anymore. This however, I find a bit strange why that would be the case.

Was your SIM-card from Thailand in your device when you made this screenshot?

No, it wasn't. However, I did check this screen when the Thailand sim was in the device upon a fresh factory reset previously and it said the same thing. Nothing changed over to THL. It was all XSA. Apart from the sim already been used to change the CSC of my note8, the only other reason I can think of is that this is an ancient sim from many years ago.

Other observations:
-upon factory reset with the thailand sim, language was still set to English Australia on restart but timezone was picked up as bangkok. Also some parts changed over to thai region such as samsung themes as noted earlier.
-thai sim has message Sim 1 Not provisioned
-I also tried a china mobile sim to see what happens, as this triggered the language to change in my Note8 on factory reset. This did NOT happen with the Note10. Only thing I noticed was that a message popuped to say that if I wish to update battery profile as it is known to cause battery drain in this region (something along these lines). There is no Sim 1 Not provided message with this chinese sim.

Power off your device, insert your Thailand SIM in SIM1 slot.
Power ON device: you should get a pop-up "SIM-card changed".
Accept, your device will restart and RESET.

Afterwards you should get THL/THL,XSA/XSA

What's your primary carrier: Australia or Thailand? Why wasn't your Thai SIM in your device when making the screenshot?

When you had that befor, there should be at least XSA/THL,XSA/XSA be shown on your device...

If not: your device is "locked" to XSA

The SIM changed message never popped up with the Note10 as it did with the Note8.

I took the sim out while I took the screenshot as it wasn't doing much and I put my Australia sim back in. Carrier would probably be half-half depending on if I travel.

Reading through some xda posts such as this https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s10/how-to/change-csc-code-firmware-sim-card-t3907375 suggests that for S10 onwards, this is tricky.

Other posts such as this one suggest using Realterm/Putty to send AT commands https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=78438552&postcount=2011 But this appears to be for trying to flash the combination file and not the standard firmware.

---
UPDATE:

Tried and reflashed this firmware with Odin using the normal CSC and not HOME_CSC for a full wipe.

Still did nothing. No sim changed message at all. I've ordered a new Thailand sim card to see if that will work.

Further reading all indicates that the sim card trick works so I'm baffled why it is not working for my phone.

Will there be any risks such as tripping knox if I flashed something completely different such as Chile(CRC) N975FOWA1ASH5 CSC or UK Carrier branded(VOD) N975FOVF1ASH5 to see if that will trigger the sim switch message?

Did you try *#272*imei# method ?
*it doesn't work with all CSCs ,hence even if it works at first, it may not work once CSC is changed - if at all you want to "reverse."

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Keeps saying SHA256 is invalid.

Edit: Nevermind, I figured out I have the 975U version and it looks like the software I was trying to flash was for the Exynos when I have the Snapdragon. They don't have the newest version for the Sept update for the Snapdragon yet, I assume....
