Thanks, sorry couldn't find a thread for the 5g variant. I've tried the Sammobile link but it says its going to take 6+ hrs, was wondering if there was any other link for it.
Follow the instructions in post #2 using Frija and substitute the model number for yours

This thread is for Multi-CSC OXM, not OWX (what your device is)...

So: no, the firmware mentioned here is not for your device... (you could have found this yourself in msg #2 & #3 that your CSC PSN is not in the Multi-CSC OXM!)
Yes but then I read another message here in this thread stating that you can unbrand a vodafone using this firmware so I wasn't sure if it would also work on mine

Edit: yes, it was you who said to another guy he could unbrand his vodafone n975f, I'm aiming to do the same. Or is vodafone VD2 OXM even though its not in the list in msg #2?

Didn't you ask the same question on SamMobile too?

Why would you want to change the firmware of your device? You probably loose network related things, and the chances are very HIGH you won't get the ARO-CSC (which is in Multi-CSC OXM), but you get the French CSC XEF instead (it's not so easy anymore to change CSC's, especially if you've a "branded" device now!).

My advise: leave it this way...

Sorry, maybe I didn't Express myself correctly, but there is an ARO firmware available that has basically the same software updates that this firmware has, thats the one I would be flashing, not the french one. I want to get the ARO instead of the PSN, because the PSN one will probably never get updated or it will get updated several weeks or months after the unbranded ones, leaving me with an outdated and useless device in just a couple of months, and don't even mention android 10 updates... :(

You did express yourself correctly, I did understand your question...

You're talking about ARO-firmware, but there ISN'T ARO-firmware anymore -> it is OXM-firmware.

In OXM are several CSC's, which you can find in msg #3.

Because you've a BRANDED phone now, part of Multi-CSC OWX, the chances are very high you don't get the ARO-CSC, but the default CSC of OXM, which is XEF (France).
There's probably a LOCK on your device, which won't allow changing CSC's!

But, if you want to try: be my guest...

Download this firmware, flash AP BL CP & CSC_OXM (NOT HOME_CSC_OXM) with Odin 3.13.x
Your device will reset afterwards which is necessary to let the CSC changed. Your SIM-card must be IN your device when flashing. When you get a pop-up "SIM-card changed": accept...

When your device start in the French language, don't say I didn't warn you...

Thanks for your patience, maybe I will try, I guess I can go back to my current firmware if I run into any issues... this is exactly why I left android after the note 5, came back 4 years later and is still the same... :mad: I hate having to go through all this nonsense just to get a freaking 200mb update on a 1500 dollar phone
