3) because I don't know what the remaining developers of eos are doing
4) because if there aren't updates from euphoria, then I can't do nothing anyway.

If you think that fix a problem it's so easy, then look the correct euphoria repo, the commits and comment where needed on github suggesting the solution.
Anyway, on second post there is the bug report page, that you all should use
