Method of finding the USB commands
I have been attempting to capture the JSON_RPC string being passed to my phone to go to test mode, but I'm stuck. I thought I would be a good place to start as I can't seem to code at all. But apparently I can't even do that.... I was following some tutorials at MSDN Blogs (I'm using the first two, as I don't need USB 3.0) and kept getting stuck at the stubs part. I'm trying do do this on Win8x64 without the whole Windows Driver Kit as that's to big to download on a whim.
Netmon 3.4 complains about using a stub parser vs full common parsers. I can't seem to get any further with finding out this USB Sniffing stuff... Most of the software solutions out there are for XP or Win2K. Anything using hardware costs $400.
I also tried the Wireshark tutorial, but that uses a vm with Linux. Not to mention its confusing too. :crying:
