Works Fine!!!

Rom is really great, Quick charge works fine for me. Calling also works fine, No Echo issues.

*Just two little issues I have found.
1) Whenever I try to change lock screen clock font size, it comes back to default small clock.
2) it takes little time to wake screen, around 1 ~ 2 sec, HW keys turns on but screen takes time. This problem remains constant with or without FP Unlock.

Good...
After average use I got about 2 ~ 2.5 days of battery life.

thanks for all Dev team, who are working for mi max 2,
this rom is working good, charging speed and battery drain no issue,
almost everything is working, only i fill one thing, call volume, speaker call volume should be little more louder,
like stock rom, rest thanks a lot for working for the same.

May be TWRP give you an Error07 while flashing, You need Orange fox 10.

I found another issue.

1) I got one random reboot after 72h of continues use.
2) Dolby stops working sometime after reboot. Though it worked if you keep it as background activity.

I tried many other Roms for this device, I think I can say that Dolby works really great, its closest to MiUi's speaker optimization.

A big Thanks to all Developers who made this possible.
Well this ROM is amazing. Battery is also amazing & its the most stable Pie rom in my opinion. No issues except the little crackling at high volume in speaker but i don't consider that an issue. Dolby Atmos is amazing for speaker. For rest i use Viper.

Till now i was using Resurrection Remix Nougat. Tried evry other rom but always went back to RR.
First time i flashed it using orange fox, set up the phone & then flashed Magisk. Magisk flash was successful but Magisk Manager showed no magisk installed even after trying a lot. Then i again re installed the rom using twrp and flashed magisk at the 1st boot only and now its working. So if you want to use magisk, flash it in the first boot itself.
And thanks again to the developers for this. Been waiting for fully stable pie.

Try adding Dolby Atmos quick tile in the quick tiles. Doesn't matter if its last or first. That way the System UI will keep using it & maybe it won't get killed.
Compared to Nougat, Pie roms are aggressive at killing background apps. You can also try disabling Background optimization in app settings.

Calls Not Getting Through

What might be the cause of calls not getting through. People say they called and there was full ring but I did not get any call nor any notification. Tried flashing this twice and both time same problem. Even whatsapp verification call not getting through. Any idea??

Initially it works fine but after some time issue crops in. Switched back to MIUI repack-4. But want to keep using this rom as daily driver. Any insight will be helpful. Thank you

Quick Charge stopped working!!!

I am using this ROM from a week, After Clean Installation ROM worked just fine with QC for 2-3 days.
After plugin it quickly showed "Charging Rapidly", But after 4 days it stopped working, Reboot before charging does helps sometime, but not always.
I am very Average user and i haven't installed Magisk yet. Very basic apps are installed on my device.
Any Solution?


I am using stock Mi Charger & USB Cable came with my phone with QC support.
It is very good ROM and using it as daily driver .

Dolby digital still creating problem, it suddenly stops working, using QS Tile doesn't changed the truth, disabling then enabling Dobly tile turns it on for 10 seconds only, it stops working suddenly after that.


Dolby is unstable on this ROM.

Plz Fix this I really like this rom and Dolby (when it works).
