It's strange to me that as soon as the unlock codes were stopped freeza, and the rest of the devs went ghost mode.

It's strange to me that as soon as the unlock codes were stopped freeza, and the rest of the devs went ghost mode.

Nobody cares about the device especially with EVR-AL00 FW. I can't even change the default launcher

"Locked bootloader" = "tied hands". Can't do anything with the device so developers lost interest.

Though I may sell it but decided to keep it regardless.

i used a tool to convert to ext4 then simply browsed with 7zip

you could also probably mount it in linux with no problems.

Does anyone know of a program in windows to extract the images from update.app? Some have suggested 7-zip but that does not work correctly. HUE huawei update extractor does not work correctly either even after I put all the correct partition block numbers in the profiles.xml. Appreciate any advice. Thanks.
