Well that settles it then... Now I need to find the cause for the issue. Gsam doesn't seem to work on A13... Despite removing all battery restrictions, the app keeps dying.
It's a known issue with battery stats permission on OneUi5. Same happens with Betterbatterystats.

But just let your phone run with it and charge it fully, then it started working for me.

Apparently AUT has DUKF but only OTA so far.
Will keep checking Frija.
I know this is Samsung's last phone without a gigantic CSC for Europe, but i can't make sense why they put AUT as the main testbed for pushing the first OTA out. Why would they suddenly change from DBT to AUT? I've seen this pattern in other phones. Does Switzerland have a massive amount of samsung users? Wouldn't one get better feedback from a 80+mil populated country compared to a 8mil?

I would love to get in to the mind of whoever manages the firmware release in samsung. They just pushed One UI 5 to 40+ devices in 60 days, but go on and make decisions that just dont make any sense.

Hello friends... I'm from Brazil and as far as I know here the S21 ultra already has ONE UI 5.0 but my device doesn't, and I can't find it via OTA, looking here I saw that it's on android 12 and available on Sammobile. Does anyone know anything about this? thanks!

Hi i have downloaded one ui 5 (BTU) from frija as i couldn't wait for a couple of day to receive it via OTA (XSG)😅.
But after the update i am not receiving OTA updates anymore.
Anyone knows how to fix this ?
Is it product code issue ? Like i have to flash back to XSG
Or its a connection problem like a vpn might solve.
Any help is appreciated 🙏

The reason you are not getting any OTA updates for XSG is that you already have the latest firmware on your device.

Actually i checked with frjia there is an update for both XSG and my current BTU.
But for some reason it's not seeing the update 😕
Yes, the update for XSG is DVK3 which is actually older than BTU/DBT if you check the security patch. I learnt it the hard way (I'm originally on XSG btw). I found this update on frija, downloaded and installed it via odin, and the phone had to factory reset for some odd reason...after going through all those, when I checked the security patch, it showed October while DBT was on Nov. I'd say it's best to not do anything and update via Odin when the new one comes for BTU/DBT.

That's interesting, and i did that when installing the November patch again by flashing with odin.
I'll give it two patches and see if it'll start receiving them again.
Thanks mate

It was a bit of a mystery what happened, but definitely not only my case and related to hardware. There were relatively many reports on Samsung forum, and Samsung changed hardware to a few people. I managed to go back to 3.1 and worked again, and had to wait to 4.1 before updating again. Tried OTA, factory reset, everything, it was just bugged. It's true that here on the forum there were not many report of this issue, I think I saw only another person here with this problem.

But good to know that there are no reports so far. I'm tempted to install the OTA...
Found your post when googling my issue... I had the exact same problem and struggled for about 2 months dealing with Samsung on it before they finally confirmed it was a software issue and fixed it in the update. Massively frustrating experience.

Now after OneUI 5 update I'm having signal issues again. Not nearly as severe and it's not making the phone reboot, but it's randomly dropping mobile signal. And takes a long time to re-connect. Sometimes I can speed up the process by toggling flight mode.

Would recommend you hold off if you haven't already upgraded.

I suppose I'll raise it with Samsung, again, hope I get a more competent result. I just know they'll waste my time making me factory reset again...

To be honest, I think that my cell reception is a bit worse after ui5 update. In fact there have been many occasions where I was trying to make a phone call and even if the signal bars were OK I was getting failed call attempts.

Here's something interesting. XSG got an update: G998BXXS5DVKE while DBT is on G998BXXU5DVKF. The modems are also different. XSG: G998BXXU5DVJA and DBT: G998BXXU5DVL2.

Can our XSG and DBT comrades please confirm if the security patch is the same or if DBT newer? I don't understand why and how Samsung messed up the naming scheme for different regions! Looking at the above codes, I'm assuming DBT is newer. This brings me to the next question, I'm an XSG device however running DBT firmware (installed via Odin) and there are no issues with calls/wifi etc, but does installing a different model firmware meant for another region create issues with the device? Could my System UI battery drain be associated with this?
