Basically a huge battery drain when screen off. I tried every trick to mitigate this problem, but nothing works.
Changed the rom, the kernel and tried to disable wakelocks, tried hibernation also, changing sleeping state from hybrid to lcd panel in kernel settings. I suspect a defective battery that needs a replacement but what is holding me back is that when screen is on I get at least 7.5 hours of screen-on time. So basically the battery backup is very good regarding that I do heavy multi-tasking. Please any help would be appreciated much.

Tried recalibrating your battery?

I made a battery test using 'AccuBattery' after reverting to stock Marshmallow rom .291 and stock kernel .291 without any app installed. I turned on airplane mode.
AccuBattery indicated that the device was in deep sleep 99% of the time, however, discharge rate was 3.9% per hour with screen off.
So the question is..
Is it a defective battery or something is going wrong with kernel sleepers?
And just to mention, I replaced the screen around 4 months ago and this problem started to show up gradually since then. Sometimes the screen won't turn off on its own and a restart will solve this problem. Could the screen drain power while it's off ?

Disable WiFi and Bluetooth scanning in Settings > Location > 3-dots menu.
