Hello...

I use SlingBox at work ( shhh , don't tell anyone)

I believe NY & NJ area is starting to get access to 4g....
with 3g the phone stays cool...
While at Newark Airport I was able to connect to 4g...WaaaHoooo

But after about 15 minutes watching Slingbox...the back of the phone was feeling hot

Is this normal and will this be dangerous if it stays that hot?

thxs

Were you charging the phone?

The phone will usually shut off before reaching dangerous levels.
Not charging just watching The Giants kick ass..
So I'm good if it doesn't shut down on its own?

I guess it uses the cpu big time when streaming on 4G.....

anybody notice this while on 4g and maybe watching alot of youtube?

Excessive 3g/4g and full speaker use tends to heat my phone but never too much. I sit at work using skyfire to stream stuff well over 2 hours. I cut all heavy background before hand though.

Sent from my "Wheres my 2.2 Epic 4G" using the XDA App
