Much to my horror, I discoved old attachments in the /mnt/sdcard/.easc/Attachment directory. The mails that these belonged to were deleted months ago. These accumulate and consume lots of storage.
Seems like a very bad bug, potentially even dangerous.
I manually emptied the directory and can still decide to download an attachment in case I need to use it.
I like the Desire and I enjoy the power of Android. But I flame Google for the lousy feature set with regards to MS-Compatibility. All other phone manufacturers, OS flavors and applications do better than Android in this domain. And on my previous WinMo phones, I had no problems at all finding good support for non-MS stuff neither.
