Numerous times i have tried to connect to my exchange server, after the phone reboots you might as well be prepared to do a hard reset (power button + volume down, click clear data) because the phone will go into an endless reboot.

Anybody else having this problem? Shouldn't they have tested something like this...you would assume that they would.

hm i dont understand it...man this is gonna drive me nuts. Guess it's back up to the store!

If i dont connect to the exchange server it doesnt do it...when i connect to exchange server with phone after next reboot it goes into a constant reboot.

Do you know what version of exchange server you're connecting to?

Trip,

I posted a reply to your reply in my thread earlier... Initially I thought this endless reboot was related to my sd card however it is not.

Its an exchange issue ! I can connect just fine and everything updates/deletes/syncs however when I reboot it go in the continous endless reboot.

If you wipe the data and restart it will not reboot. you add exchange and reboot viola REBOOT CENTRAL !

It's the security policy on your Exchange server that requires your device to have a password that the 2.1 build of Android for Sprint doesn't work well with.

You will need to either:

1. Turn the policy off on your Exchange server or create a new policy omitting this setting for EVO users.
2. Try another ActiveSync client that is not integrated with the OS like TouchDown.
3. Wait for 2.2
