I went in with the same mindset, and I essentially think you're right, but I still love it. It's an iterative release, this is Samsung's "5S" release, ie. It's the perfect Note 3

So it reminded me right away of why I love the 3, but more so. It has the best screen I've ever seen, on any device. That alone might be worth entry. I had the G3 for a couple weeks, and this looks like a different class of display, it's crazy.

I bought this phone subsidized with an amazing trade in deal. I'd never pay 700+ for it, but it's wonderful. It will be forever gimped if we don't get root.

It's fine to discuss here, people getting hurt aren't feeling real secure about their purchases. But I don't know why, it's beautiful.
