Samsung released galaxy A8 phone with same ram and chipset as Samsung S6. It has always on display, I hope someone will port it. According to this site http://www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/samsung-galaxy-a8-2016-news/

But it seems the specifications were different according to other sources.

S7/N7 AOD (Always On Display) is now fully ported. Simply install A8 2016 Port ROM and flash Tamerlan Kernel 2.4 after you complete the first boot. More info at post #3.

For galaxy labs you need to install quickshortcutmaker from playstore and make a shortcut on homescreen.

Galaxy labs is in settings it's not an app. And just download game launcher from galaxy apps store as normal apk

Can you tell me please what are the other files that make the AOD function work? Because I put the AOD folder with the .apk itself (in my S5 Neo, which is running marshmallow too), and in settings everything is working. I can change the layout, disable/enable it, but of course, the aod itself doesn t work. And I flashed the kernel too, and I got no problems. I know that is not ported for S5, but I wanna give it a try, if I can.

Help. I tried to download the s7 theme store file for the s6 but the mega.nz website won't even let me download the file. I don't even have a theme store for Alexis ROM for some reason (I don't know why).

Edit: I reflashed the Alexis ROM (Clean Install) and got the theme store which means I don't need these.

Here you're some Galaxy S7 Features we don't get with official MM 6.0.1 on our S6:

This apps are mainly for our S6 with 6.0.1 (apps compatible with LL will be written) and all other Galaxy updated officially to MM (Note 5, S6 Edge Plus and Edge for now).
Remember to delete arm folder if you copy manually the files and you're on a ODEX (stock touchwiz) Rom,
and READ HERE how to set correct permissions for folders and apks/libs

Make sure the apk and folder is saved on system as system app and grant correct permissions. Make sure you have tn kernel flashed then it should work. Give it a try

All is set correctly, but I receive that "Always On Display has stopped" error message when I enable/disable it.

Here you're the new Smart Manager 2016 from Galaxy C5!

Instructions:
1. Go to system/priv-app/SmartManager_v3 (or SmartManager_v3_NoIcon)
2. Rename old apk here from .apk to .apk2 or directly delete it
3. Put mine one and set correct permissions (rw-r-r)
4. Reboot.
5. If you have SDK error, Download THIS and try before all to copy only smart manager sdk and reboot, if not fix then copy all others apks and libs.

Always show SDK crash popup no matter what i did. Don't know why but i have followed instructions step by step.

Revert back to stock after i found that it doesn't contain App Lock features.

I wonder why but i saw a video on YouTube that it lays on Smart Manager and Settings.

I have already submit App lock request on Galaxy Note 4 thread but no respon at all.
No one cares about App Lock features.

Could you please port it??

Before anyone asking, S7 Always On Display is not so easy port, First we need all apks that managed it, second we need a framework to run it and third we need a custom kernel that integrate this function (absolutely impossible until Samsung release source code of S7 kernel). Even with all these 3 things it's not sure we we'll obtain A.O.D. , like we never get for example Night Clock function from S6 Edge.


UPDATE 04/03/16
I can confirm what I've said before. Things are exactly like Night clock, sometimes it popup out before unlocking so it need a kernel editing to properly running it.
