Hi guys. I just got the Vivo x90 pro plus. I was wondering, is there any safe to remove bloatware that i could use with the new model? I guess many are the same as x80 pro. I would like to start debloating. Thanks in advance.

Hey, yes. First if all, download an app called "package names" from the play store. Open the app, you will have 2 options; "User Apps" & "System Apps".

On the user apps tab, you can find the full name of the apps you want to remove.

Activate USB debugging in developer options on the Vivo, and plug into pc. Then you can uninstall your chosen apps via ADB.

Or you can simply disable the apps in settings. The apps that can't be disabled, use the above process to remove them.

3. Is there random chinese text in the software even if you select English language?
4. What's the temperature like?

I got the phone in my hands right when i posted the message. So actually i can't tell too much about it. Except that i consider the design to be fantastic.
As far as i checked menu, there is some chinese here and there. Especially when you swipe left from home screen, there are many apps that i would like to remove asap. The game optimizing app its full chinese, btw. Even if you set phone language to english.

Thanks for the tips. Getting my laptop ready, hopefully ill manage to clean it up as much as possible.

I can already tell you i got an update right as i connected phone to wireless. So yes, expect one update.

Hi there, Thanos. So i managed to remove like 10 apps out of 20. I could not uninstall some of them for some reason. I had a message on my phone when i was trying to delete them, something like ' somebody is trying to remove system apps' and it failed with some. I used a software called Adb Debloat Manager as for some reason i could not see my phone via classic terminal command way 'adb devices'.. Not sure what im doing wrong.

Thanks for the update. I will see how successful I am with the debloating & get back to you. Will be tomorrow evening or Saturday.

In the meantime, if you're able to connect the classic ADB way, run the following command

adb shell pm uninstall --user 0 (package name)

This should remove the apps you are currently unable to remove. Furthermore, whenever you've finished debloating, give your phone a restart to ensure you haven't removed any core app. I did this last time with my Huawei, removed an app which was a core app. The Huawei would bootloop. And I had to factory reset it and start again. Always give your phone a restart after debloating.

I stopped trying for the moment . I just cant get some apps uninstalled for some reason . Mine came with google services installed .But you can install them manually . Got it from Giztop , 1060 gbp .
One thing i noticed is that google pay won't work . Other than that cant wait to remove the chinese apps left if possible , soon.

Ahh okay I paid £990. I'll let you know if I have success with debloating the apps.
What happens if you try to use Google pay?

Hi. Does anyone own a Vivo phone and a Garmin watch (Fenix 7 solar)? I have a problem with notifications, it doesn't show me alarms and calendar notifications. Other notifications works perfect. Any advice?

Hello again, it seems so e apps just can't be removed. However, I looked through some x80 pro forums and user reported the same issue, unable to remove specific apps via ADB. This is down to vivos security. But someone found a method eventually and it worked. I tried the same method with the x90 pro but as the x90 pro is A13, it doesn't work.

How's your experience with the x90 pro plus so far?

Hello, anybody else has problem with Digital wellbeing Bedtime mode and/or DND mode when using always on display in "move to activate" mode? In my case, when bedtime mode starts, display will grey out as it is supposed to. But when I move phone after it is locked, the AOD will "reset" it - bedtime mode is off and display is colored again.

Similar problem is with DND - it wont reset right away but after a few minutes. I think it is connected to AOD in "move to active" mode and/or AOD in general. When AOD is turned off, those bugs wont happen

Is anyone able to Mashup theme? I want to try different lockscreen but on A13 beta it simply doesn't work. Not to mention that Vivo doesn't even support different basic lockscreen date and time types.
