Which setting is the best(in lgcamera) for WVGA video recording? 3gp format and default video encoder? Something else?

I was able to record a quick 6 seconds film with default camcorder at
format:
mp4
848X480 27f/s
data rate: 10243kbps
total bitrate: 10342kbps
audio:
bit rate: 98kbps
Stereo @ 44kHz
HERE is the PROBLEM!!!!!
After I flash the zip, my phone can NOT get any signal, 2G / 3G nor auto. It just stay at Emergency Call only. ( I did a quick recording above result )
* I have unplug the battery for one min, but still no use.
* After I re-flash Korean Firmware, everything works like before, but no 848X480 or higher image.
Any idea what had happen here? I don't get it, isn't it just patching video? How would the phone signal affected?
( or do you need any file from the Korean firmware? )

I had the same problem with Korean firmware, after applying any zip from recovery there was no signal.
Installed on my Defy with JRDNEM_U3_3.4.2_155-002_DEBLUR.
I edited the update.zip from post #24 and removed all apps. I left only the libs and installed lgCamera.

By any chance you can make one for Korean firmware? Or do you need the build.pro? So it doesn't kill my signal after install the zip file.

I flashed the .zip and when I start camcorder it crashed.
But now everytime I open Camcorder it crashes. Or when I put it to VGA it crashes...

I tried LGcamera but when I set to 854*480 the recorded video is still in VGa and the video is completely distorted (just pink lines,etc)

The Brazilian Retail 3.4.2-107_JDNL-9 SBF has built in libs for 720p recording.
any chance you could implement this update for gingerbread as it works like a charm on froyo and i can never get the same flash video performance on gingerbread without this update (contiuous loop if installed on gingerbread cm7)

Try the attached file - worked for me and I was on liquidarc as well.
Did anyone try this for one of the Moto Gingerbread versions (not CM7 or MIUI)? I'd love to have 720p playback and WVGA recording on Gingerbread.

This does not work on my defy, there is no flashlight on camcorder and the 720 playback is still choppy, unfortunately green lense here.
As I have no idea of how to make scripts for Android, could anyone please make this update.zip compatible with the new custom recovery?
I'd love to play the crash test dummy on this one for the latest gingerbread release.
€: I tested the libs by pushing them into the system/lib folder. No change at all under Gingerbread-112. Still no 720p Playback and no WVGA record.

I tested the script from post #24 on many roms (install in recovery).
The good is that it worked with Android 2.2 versions like Nordic 342.177.005 or HK 343.33.
The bad is that it did not work with any 2.3 version.
But THE VERY WEIRD part is that after installing it e.g on HK Android 2.2.2 build 3.4.3-33, it changes the Android version, so I get after that Android 2.2.1, build 3.4.2-117, which is a UK Rom that I never installed on my phone.
