I don't know what I missed, but now I get Your device is corrupt. It cannot be trusted and will not boot :(. I'mma try to flash back my system and try it again.

H860 with Nougat and anti-rollback version 0

P.S : I can't enter recovery or download mode ... how much I'm I screwed ? It just keeps rebooting
Power the phone down completely, and then try entering download mode. The error message you get with the red triangle is normal.

You are more than welcome to attempt it on Nougat, however I only know that it works for SURE on Marshmallow
I wish, I contacted LG Singapore and they refuse to serve any device repair, I am poor and I dont have alternative phones, unfortunately I cannot risk myself applying the method.
but honestly, good job man, you were on very determinate person to make this happen ever since the beginning from back when the dirtycow hijack was announced to until the end.
Good job! many hopleless LG G5 users were counting on your work!
Youre the hero of this forum! hero to many!

It worked under Marshmallow, but can't make SuperSU work :/ any ideas ?
Nobody is able to get SuperSu installed currently and that's probably the main issue Honestly Annoying is working on. Btw, sorry for the noob question but could you confirm me that in order to get root, you need to run the commands given in the tutorial in the adb shell opened by step1.bat and (if that's the case) how did you copied all the files from the dirtysanta-boot folder to the root directory ?

edit : For some reason I saw those linux commands and though that I needed to run the batch files AND the .sh on my g5.... All good now

If you post a request in the SuperSU forums Chainfire may help us.

DO NOT SPAM HIM. THAT IS THE BEST WAY TO GET A DEVELOPER NOT TO HELP US.
I'll do that then :) thank you for your hard work !! I'll try it again once more on Nougat and see what it gives.

EDIT 1 : Having problems getting back to Nougat, AutoPrime LG UP says unknows model, still trying to figure out why's that

@Honestly Annoying, just tried on my h831 with nougat installed and it worked ! Will update after I got the time to disable dm-verity

EDIT : Looks like we aren't able to disable dm-verity on nougat and thus, get a sweet bootloop on nougat. For those who are stuck there, flash the nougat kdz for you phone with uppercut and you should have a working phone again.

That shouldn't have anything to do with this, as the only thing being touched is the boot partition. Make sure drivers are installed correctly, use autoprime's UPPERCUT, and change USB ports.
I've already tried all that, it's probably du to some **** with the Marshmallow KDZ I Installed, i'm still trying various things to get it to work or access recovery (which is almost impossible to get into in H860 Marshmallow)
