On the top right there is a button so you can set profiles for: speakers, headphones, bluetooth, etc.
On android LP (5.0/5.1) when you plug in headphones, the profile will automatically switch from speakers to headphones, and if you connected to bluetooth, then automatically to bluetooth.
Starting from MM, this does not happen and the app uses same profiles for speaker for both headphones or bluetooth--app simply doesn't recognize a headphone/bluetooth connection.
I was wondering if you had the ability to make it so that the app can recognize such connections and load profiles. :p

Usually the profile iis selected correctly. Can you try to use the default music player in CM and check if it works.

Flashed gapps 6.0 with viper on latest cm13 sultan rom. after installing the driver & rebooting the phone, the driver status shows abnormal. i flashed latest supersu after flashing the rom & then flashed the gapps with viper.but the driver status shows abnormal. i also tried flashing supersu after flashing the gapps but still the same problem. any help is appreciated.

But whit Cm13 you should enable the option in dev section...
And after you can install viper's driver...

why viper don't have quality setting for driver installed . thus I want to know what driver is installed and why

I'm so having issues as well getting Viper to work as well. I installed the most recent sultan rom. Installed the slimv4android package and the most recent version of superuser. After finishing I went to viper4android and installed busy box and went through the installation process of viper4android and rebooted. After rebooting and going back to the application I was prompted to install the driver again even though I just did it. Also regardless of music playing or not I have the abnormal status as well. Any ideas?

i think this is to do with sultan rom. If you try any other ROM it works fine. I don't know the exact issue but I could replicate it in Sultans ROM. If you try pure CM 13 and install super su, it should work fine.

VIPER4ANDROID - NOW IT FULLY SUPPORTS ENFORCING MODE. No need for permissive. Make sure latest SuperSu is installed

I just flashed the Gaaps with viper. Loaded myvl settings, now when i open the app, it's saying I need to update otherwise it won't work, should I be updating or will that break the enforcing code? I am on enforcing, so wasn't sure whether to update or not

You need to update after flashing this gapps. This was done so that viper can be updated to latest versions

Now all location bug has been fixed so why there is need of "modified" gapps. i mean to say what has been changed in it now apart from viper4droid . :)
