Extended Battery Wrap

I posted some info in another thread but I wanted to make one just for extended battery covers for the Fascinate.

I got a 50% off a Zagg leather skin. I ordered one for the iPad. You can get four extended custom wraps for the battery if you cut it right. First one was a test run with the skin cut in 3 pc. so I could see where the wrinkles would be.Two pics of the second one I am useing now with only two small cuts at the bottom of the back so the leather would fit. Not perfect but almost

Had this info in a other post so I moved it here so it would be all together. All pics are at the bottom. I also posted in the General section and someone got upset because there were instructions on how to take care of a common problem some of us have

It is a little heavier but not enough to complain about. If I forget my case I put it in my front pocket and it doesnt bother me at all, even while sitting. Here are a few pics.

Also with the extended bat it makes the cell a LOT easier to hold on to with your hand or if you have to cheek it while talking.

haven't done any real test but when I had the stock bat in my son and I would have to stop after a few hours of Homerun Derby. Now we/I can go all day and only charge it at night when I hit the bed and thats with playing games all day and messing with apps.

I'm looking to purchase one of these for my Evo. I have used Zagg products before and they have developed alot of pocket lint on the corners. Also over time the cover would start to peal back in certain areas. Being that the leather skin is thicker, have you seen any of these problems show up yet.

I know exactly what your talking about and it drives me crazy. So its been close to two months and the leather skin has none of that. I think the leather is the way to go.

No offense but this thing is grotesque... not even the nice look of the leather can hide the obesity of the extended battery, it just looks so horrible, I would rather charge my phone every night than carry around a pregnant midget in my pocket all day.
