i would suggest the seidio 3000 mAh extended battery. i got mine last week from amazon where i paid $60 with shipping (reg price $69.99+shipping from seidioonline.com). it really rocks and compared to the stock samsung ext battery, which i bought and stopped using, the feel is so much better and the battery life is waaay better. win win.

Well i got back from my trip and my experience with the exteneded battery was just "ok" i was expecting better. I unplugged from the charger at 8am and immediately started listening to Pandora and had it on non-stop along with GPS on and WIFI on so i could track my trip progress when i wanted to. I used the Internet maybe total of 3 hours along the way and maybe texted 20 times. I turned on Google navigation maybe 20 times to check my location. When i got there and turned off Pandora it was 6pm and i had 45% left. I left GPS and WIFI on and used the internet maybe another 2 hours. When i went to bed and was ready to plug it into the charger it was 12am and i had 25%left.
BTW- Im not stock, I was running Superclean 2.9.2 and imnuts -50Voodoo Kernel
And yes the cover is a little bulky and can feel the difference when holding it...but i got used to it

i am quite demanding on my phone so i really cant go without the extended life battery. if the size is of the essence for you then you can always use the stock battery primarily and keep the extended life battery as your solid backup until you get near a usb port or wall jack.

there is a good difference in how long the batteries last. the case for the extended battery is quite a bit bulgier than stock but personally i kind of like it better, its easy to grip. i rarely have problems with the extended battery dying, even then it is usually on long road trips or just forgetting to charge. like i said before though you do always have the stock battery to fall back on. the batteries sustain a good charge when not in use.

overall, bulgier case and heavier phone or not im sure i will have another extended life battery when i do decide to switch phones. i have an upgrade available but honestly im in love with the Fascinate, at this point i would probably only upgrade for the 4G but even then im not sure about how the 4G coverage is in my particular area.

Check out the Naztech, in another Thread in this forum. $24 bucks at Amazon, no lump, just thicker. I don't like the look of the lump, and the Seidio looks like it might not be as comfortable in the hand. Anyway, I am going to try the Naztech. The Fascinate is actually a bit too thin to feel right in my hand. Plus I am tired of worrying about battery life.

The Naztech battery and cover are great. You get used to the added thickness in no time and even with it, the phone still fits in my belt holster. Now I don't have to worry about battery life. I got sick and tired of being aware of how much life my phone had left and whether I'd remembered to carry my car charger with me.
