I still don't get the liquid cooling part. The teardown showed no liquid inside..
It's the same as other phones with liquid cooling; it's an extremely tiny amount that's inside the thicker flat heat pipe, where the copper wick is. It's so small an amount that once it's cut into the water will evaporate into the atmosphere. That chamber is a vacuum, however.Yeah, I think that might have been a fib. As far as I've understood it, it's a rod thermally conductive metal, so it draws hear from the soc to other areas of the phone less likely to overheat (though when I was watching the teardown it looked like it was drawing hear to the battery - hot batteries didn't do Samsung a whole lot of favours. Jus' sayin')
It just assists in passive dispersal of heat, it doesn't have a pump or anything and you certainly won't see the liquid in such a tiny cooling system.
