It's the same as other phones with liquid cooling; it's an extremely tiny amount that's inside the thicker flat heat pipe, where the copper wick is. It's so small an amount that once it's cut into the water will evaporate into the atmosphere. That chamber is a vacuum, however.
As @locolyric posted, the miband 3, NFC edition is kitted out to enable Xiaomi phones with NFC so they can use Chinese banking, transport etc. It launches next week (19th September iirc), when we'll find out whether it will work only in China or if it's a viable international solution.
It works as an NFC device for payments. Whether that is a reader or writer, no clue. It does need to install an app and on many phones, it simply will not work. Especially if rooted. I'll setup my S3 frontier and see if it works. You can get these at a good discount since the new Gear is out.

None. Reset watch, downloaded the Gear app. I paired the S3 to the Poco F1 and launched Samsung Pay from the watch. The app opened on the phone. I added my CC information and it was accepted even though I'm rooted. I did set Magisk hide for the Samsung Pay app. Went to get gas yesterday and used the NFC in the watch to pay. Worked great. The F1 is not my primary phone so I tested then re paired with my daily driver.
