Extremely frequent Sleep of Deaths on CM12.1

On an average, I wake up to a dead phone almost every other night, and during the day, my phone gets a SOD at least once. This evening, it happened twice in a span of an hour!

I searched around but most threads were from 2013 and there weren't any known fixes for them. Is anyone else getting SODs this frequently? Can I fix it somehow?

I've missed my alarm twice this week and it's really frustrating.

My advise would be to backup all your data on the phone to a computer, download the latest 5.1.1 factory image directly from Google and flash it which will wipe your phone and revert it to stock then flash CM12.1 again.

I was getting a few SODs on CM12.1 and doing this seemed to clear them.
