You can go to Download Mode now or not?

Hi,my phone is F500L software version F500L09a,after flashing rooted F500L10w i stuck at LG logo. Then i flash H815B kdz and able to boot into phone. But there is no phone signal. Is there any solution that flash the modem baseband file to my phone?I already get the modem file from another user. There is 3 file modem.img, modemst 1.img and modemst2.img file. Does this command correct to push the modem file to my phone?
dd if=/sdcard/modem.img bs=8192 seek=65536 count=11008 of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p1

Thanks.
I did the same process.
In my case, the carrier signal is very weak and falls constantly.
If it works, please, provide the modem file.

Thank you very much for your help!

Hi Guyz,
Any update for the workaround for F500l problem.
We need complete partition backups or original f500l 10a.

In downloadmode using send_command.exe we can backup but need to figure out bs, skip, count for each partition.

Some have mentioned that we can flash h815 10b and boot but signal stregth is bad. Here at least we can connect to the phone and copy the img back ups of the original and restore them.

Anyone care to help with calculations or share backups of originals?

What partitions are absolutely nessesary?

Anyone tried this method for F500S?

Make sure you have the same exact version you are considering to flash 10w 10o.. Do not flash if its not the same or youll soft brick!

Otherwise all f500 s k l are same except for bands. Youre not touching your modem. Just your system. Best option is to follow original thread to backup your own and have someone inject root for you, if you cant. Safer.

You should backup your system.img and inject root yourself. There is a link of a rootedsystem of my original f500l in the original thread post #2. But i didn't get a chance to try it.

In case the rooting process fails, even if its soft brick I cannot inject back my system.img right? :D Seems I will wait for kdz before doing anything else :D Im too poor to risk this phone XD

Rooting does not fail. If you backup your system and inject root and then restore that rooted version of your system back. Youre fine.

If you flash a mismatched version aquired elsewhere you risk brick.

If you dont have a 2ndary phone. Wait for kdz.

Yeah I tend to wait for kdz. I'd love to have my phone rooted but I'm scared of soft bricking it like you. Did you attempt to inject a different version of firmware of the root into your phone so it bootlooped?

I didnt try to inject root on my own, no unbuntu setup.

I used the OP image. Unawares that mismatched versions would brick my phone.

The OP has since added a warning, but was too late for many of us that tried.

I thought I would just be upgrading my system it being from the same model.

If your current version is10o or 10w, you can apply the same in OP to your phone and be rooted without worry. Unless somerhing else happends. Ymmv

Shortly after applying this, someone else was kind enough to link me a rootedsystem of my original in the main thread. But it was too late, I already screwed mine up.

Thats why I warned you.

If you have 10a. I have a rootedsystem. Img for it.

Rooting is simple. But without a way to 100% recover using kdz, root isnt worth the risk atm imho.

Youd need to backup your 10n system.img and post it on the main thread for someone to root it for you or do it yourself. Do not use 10w 10o in OP.

Id take heed of mal intent at a cruel joke.. Imo ;)
