Facebook 1.3 battery issue triggered by CM 6?

This is just a suggestion, don't go all crazy on me please.

I noticed that users who complain about the issue like my self, have CM.

He has CM and downloaded the new FB update.

Either this or Apple's behind this. That actually makes sense. Apple does this so everyone gets there attention off the antenna issues. Specially new Android users who don't visit blogs and forums and have updated there facebook, unknowingly will blame the Android OS for having horrible battery issues.

The facebook app calls a partial wakelock for the device, keeping it "on" while the screen is turned off. That's the cause of the battery issue.

Looks like the facebook devs have to dig a little bit deeper in how android works.

Nothing to do with CM 6. I just had the same issue with stock 2.2 the other night.

Facebook android made a post awhile ago on fb about it, they are fixing the battery issue a new update will soon roll out.
