Got European B2017G build 09 and can't place phone- & videocalls in Facebook Messenger.
Wiped the phone and installed only Facebook + Messenger and could make calls. When installed all my other apps (~40-50) it stopped working again. The call starts 1 second and then disconnects. Seems to be a conflict between Messenger and other app(s) and/or the ZTE HW/SW.
Have same configuration/apps on a Samsung Note 4 and S6 and there's no issues with Messenger (all three on Android 6.01). Tried Googles messenger versions Duo & Hangouts and they work fine placing phone- & videocalls while Facebook Messenger don't (except when I only have Facebook + Messenger installed).
Anyone noticed this annoying bug?
Since same config works on Note 4 + S6 it must be related to ZTE Axon 7 mini HW/SW right?

Hi. Just tried on my phone (same hw and sw as yours) and I have found no issue with facebook messenger.
Please make sure that you have the correct configuration and permissions for default programs. I had big issues on not receiving SMS when having favebook mesenger as default application for SMS.

Tried messing with phone & Messenger permissions earlier with no success, but I'll try some more...

Ha ha...amazing, after weeks of testing different configs & installing one app at a time, it was the Bluetooth speaker over my Huawei watch. When disabling it (NOT speaking over watch) everything's fine! Should get paid from Google doing all this testing. Question is if this is a bug but Google Duo/Allo works with Android Wear Bluetooth speaker enabled, so there's a glitch in Facebook/Messengers code alright!
Phuh, anyway good to know how to fix it, prefer using Messenger over having calls on my Huawei watch ;)
