Facebook, no 'Like' in News/Update pages, and cant see comments!!

Where is the 'Like' button and why on earth can you only see the original status posted by a friend and not any comments made about that status???

I Commented on a friends status only to find out (logged on from my PC) that 4 other people had already commented and so my comment made no sense! lol :D

Yeah I must say coming from the iPhone the facebook app on win mob is terrible! Ok I know its pretty sad saying that but tbh before having my iPhone I didn't use facebook much but because the facebook app on the iPhone was such a pleasure to use I really got in to it... :( I'm having to use facebook on opera now. :rolleyes:

Considering the guy who developed the iphone version of facebook app fell out with apple due to its ridiculous app store approval process, they should get him to make a WM version!

Been using the touch.facebook.com for a few days now and you guys are right so much better then the app for WM... but just wondering if anyone else is having an issue with it being slow to update news feeds? Seems to be way behind at times!

Thanks for the heads-up regarding touch.facebook - didn't know about that! The winmo facebook ap is not very fully featured at all, which is a shame, because it wouldn't be a difficult application to write. That said, browsing being as good as it is on the HD2, i usually just visit the full facebook site. With pinch zooming i find it a breeze to navigate. Touch is probably a more sensible option though i guess. Just replaced my facebook ap quicklink with the facebook touch bookmark :D

Yeah, at the bottom is a link to "Mobile Site" which is m.facebook.com I think - that has the news feed issue fixed, but isn't as finger-friendly (it's not bad tho).

Neither of them allow you to view or tag photos very well IMO, a decent FB WinMo app would be very welcome.
