Yes, you are correct. Both radio and bootloader are exactly the same in version m4b30x and the newly released m4b30z.

Can we install the drivers binaries directly on the phone with a custom rom? If so, just install the qcom-hammerhead-m4b30z-d6c0fe26.tgz file (for example) with TWRP?

The memory leak doesn't seem to be present here. System UI is still around 115 mb average, with around 130 mb max. This is when the phone has been active for 60 hours. It even gets smaller in size sometimes. So there's no abnormal growth without any form of reduction.

It keep increasing here. Average usage 142mb, max 166mb, 82h uptime.

Nope. Always increasing, until a point where the system reboot itself.

Highest I've noticed was around 420mb average usage, within 720h of uptime or so.

Hmm, I've seen the max value up to 180 yesterday evening when watching the last 3 hour stats (rebooted it 2 hours before that or something like that). After 30 mins or so the max value went to 150, after 1 hour down to 130, and now it's 97. No reboots in the meantime. When I click on the 1 day overall stats screen, I indeed see 180 max value, but when looking at the last 3 hours max is 97. So that should mean its's decreasing in some way on my N5.

Hmm.. I have 106 average and 122max now after 40h of uptime. Will watch it closely.

Do you know the last build that didn't have this issue? I'm done with this phone when my 6P comes back, but ,my friends use this phone as their daily driver. They need it to be stable.

Same here. This is very confusing, did they forget to update a string somewhere? Do I have the Dec/2016 security updates or not? Since this appears to have been released in January, why not release Jan/2017 security updates at once?

FWIW, I tried this DirtyCow PoC after intalling this update and it worked. According to Google, this was fixed in 2016-12-05 security patch
