I have I337UCUAMDL. I'm on 4.2.2 goldeneye firmware. I want to stock flash it to MDL again as I don't want my boot loader to get locked. Is it possible to flash MDL again? if yes can some one pls point me to right firmware file?
You are in the right thread. Just download the file in the op and Odin it. I had to take my phone in this morning for a sim card issue, so I used the file and it worked perfectly.

This will only work for Windows!

Downloads
Get the Odin Flashing Tool: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1168421&d=1341114315
Get this Firmware Package (very large): http://www.hotfile.com/dl/210140535/c7c4d28/I337UCUAMDB_I337ATTAMDB_ATT.zip.html
mirror: http://storagecow.eu/index.php?dir=Xda/AT&T+S4/Stock+Odin/
mirror: http://www.135.a.hostable.me/public/I337UCUAMDB_I337ATTAMDB_ATT.zip

Instructions
  1. extract I337UCUAMDB_I337ATTAMDB_ATT.zip in your downloads folder
  2. Open Odin
  3. Click PDA
  4. Navigate to where you extracted the firmware and select it
  5. Hold Volume Down + Home + Power until your device enters Download(Odin) Mode, then press volume up.
  6. Connect the device to the computer and hit Start in Odin.
  7. Stand back from the device and the computer until its complete.

Flashing Tips
Always use a GOOD USB cable, preferably stock.
Always use a good USB port in the back of the computer.
Always set the device in a good position where it will not become disconnected or disturbed.
Above all, Always use Heimdall over Odin when it becomes available. It's not available yet.

How to make a firmware like this
I was actually uploading a copy from my own computer obtained via exploit from bfielding's device, and I decided to try kies. The official package is a much better idea. Samsung Kies requires that you put in your model and serial, then it downloads the firmware in an encrypted package, extracts it, flashes it and deletes it. There's a short window where you can get in and grab the firmware.

Kies downloads to a temporary file called (in my case) C:\Users\Adam\AppData\Local\Temp\tmp####.tmp (where # is an integer less than 10). When the firmware is extracted, it goes into a new folder called C:\Users\Adam\AppData\Local\Temp\tmp####\. Yank that and put it on hotfile :).

Hi Adam,
Has anyone confirmed this works on Sprint S4 L720TVPUAMK5 and will this change the custom flag back to official on Baseband = L720TVPUAMK5 Model = SPH-L720T (Sprint Phone S4)?

Hey Adam,

Nice work. I added my thanks. I'm guessing you don't have a GS4 SPRINT MK5 mobile device and therefore would not be able to grab the MK5 Firmware for me. I can try your method to grab the Firmware, though I'm still a bit new at this mobile stuff.

Can you refer me to any good XDA GS4 Sprint Developers?

I have done everything exactly as the OP and the instructions on sammobile say but my device gets stuck at "downloading..." with a small blip of blue below.

Odin3 says "fail!" Here is what it says:

<ID:0/008> File analysis..
<ID:0/008> SetupConnection..
<ID:0/008> Initialzation..
<ID:0/008> Set PIT file..
<ID:0/008> DO NOT TURN OFF TARGET!!
<ID:0/008> Get PIT for mapping..
<ID:0/008> Firmware update start..
<ID:0/008> SingleDownload.
<ID:0/008> aboot.mbn
<ID:0/008> NAND Write Start!!
<ID:0/008> FAIL! (Auth)
<ID:0/008>
<ID:0/008> Complete(Write) operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)

If someone could help I'd appreciate it... my device is totally bricked. :0/

Ok first off, you need to tell us what type of phone you have and what firmware you were running before you bricked. if you have had anything newer than mdl than you are pretty much stuck with a paper weight. The newer firmwares really got locked down and odin will not work. ok i stand corrected. read the post below.. maybe @jd1639 can lead you in the right direction and can help you unbrick your phone. I was one of the fortunate ones that didnt take any of the new updates or got a phone with any of the newer that really locked down our phones and have to use Safestrap.

also if you were running a newer firmware go here and read up.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2616221
