hey hey,
i'm doing something wrong, but what

1. i dowloaded this file: recovery-clockwork-legend.zip
2. renamed it to update.zip
3. copied it to the sd-card root
4. followed the prodecure discribed

when i apply this step: Select the second option, 'Apply sdcard:update.zip
i get the error:

E:failed to verify whole-file signature
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted.

so what is this update.zip. think that the renaming from recovery-clockwork-legend.zip to update.zip is wrong

could anybody please help me?

It seems that maybe the linked recovery version isn't the latest. The best way to get Clockwork recovery on your phone would be to install ROM Manager from the Market and then click "Flash recovery" in the app.

But I can not using Rom Manager from Market, because I used Rodriguez v2.3 Rom and when I want to install anything from market into my phone, it said, i dont have enough memory whereas I have 100MB free memory, because I use TA utility that included in the rom and it move cache to SD card..
So I have to download apk files and then install them manually to phone...
whould you please put the latest version download link here..????
because in some posts above I saw that some one said the link here is not the latest version link...

Wrong step,
1. copy "recovery-clockwork-legend.zip" to the root SD Card.
2. Your custom ROM name must "update.zip", and copy it to the root of SD Card too, and follow the step.

Actually the recovery must be named update.zip. The ROM can be named whatever you like, since you can choose it from within the recovery.

- complete Step1
- complete Step2
- then instead of 'Flash zip from SD card', we just choose 'Reboot system now'?
- then install ROM manager from market?
